  1. SAS Bilsteins Seeping Fluid at Reservoir Joint

Didn't think of that! Maybe gentle swabbing of goof off and I'll see if it repeats itself, thanks!
  2. SAS Bilsteins Seeping Fluid at Reservoir Joint

No one? Not even a troll blaming Ford for Bilstein?
  3. Boost failure

Could we see some pics of the message(s) when you have a moment? I just did mishi high mount ic. Been doing fine so far but my gut says your issues aren't plumbing-related and I'm concerned I might end up in same boat...
  4. Boost failure

So you have an error message/dash light telling you there's some fault with the shutter or how do you know it's failing?
  5. Thoughts on buying a manual now?

I received a very nice total-out on my MT bronco with 22k miles on it when it was decommed by another driver last fall. There were only (2) available in the entire USA that the adjuster could find anywhere near the other specs I had. But now I'm unabashedly loving the procal tune in my 2.7 and...
  6. SAS Bilsteins Seeping Fluid at Reservoir Joint

Just the fronts (L&R) as far as I can tell. Anyone else? It was 96 today. It will get hotter and I imagine this may get worse. No actual wet film or any drips but not alot of fluid there to begin with and the exit of some would suggest air has now taken its place and i believe that means it...
  7. "Homemade" hard top lift tips!

I hereby indemnify myself with the 'ol YMMV...don't try this at home... Double check my steps; do NOT move the truck at all, until it's 100% clear of the cage, hanging ~LEVEL, and out of harm's way. You need 2 straps, 15-20ft/each. NOTE: these products are typically NOT designed for overhead...
  8. Odd feeling (transmission?) at start and stop

I presume, as 2.7AT is an established platform for them, that there would be next to no chance in Ford writing a preemptive TSB? Do x number of vehicles have to fail before? I bought new for model year 2007 tundra and it did a very similar thing- Toyota issued TSB for it within weeks and...
  9. Odd feeling (transmission?) at start and stop

Same I've posted about it before but replies diminished concern. May need to revisit I take care of it but also wring it out almost daily- driving style may be a factor
  10. Odd feeling (transmission?) at start and stop

What engine and transmission did you buy? Ditto but I would say mine is -more-pronounced than the slight shudder the engine mounts give when ASS dis/engages. And becoming more frequent. Either transmission or some other part of driveline feels like it's developed slop and now getting wadded...
  11. Damage while using winch on improperly installed Rough Country High Mount

Working on my own contributions, with this download of what else should I gussy up before I start yankin
  12. Dumb or brilliant idea for help removing top??

4 eye bolts, 4 stubs of 2x4 (temporary spacers between clamshell and body), 4 of those little hardboard angle pieces they put around sharp angles in packaging sometimes (to protect the bottom edges where the straps have to slide), and 2 cam lever straps. Practice. Carefully. <15min
  13. Damage while using winch on improperly installed Rough Country High Mount

How do I miss 1 day old posts like this that rack up 7pgs... No time to read it all, but your misfortune and reporting are extremely timely for me... After doing Mishimoto high mount all I've been scheming on is a way to get winch between horns. Was going to do a short drum winch tray and hack...
  14. How much weight can I save on wheels?

(SAS wheels are +30mm offset confirmed) I believe the lightest _cast_ wheels I've seen that work are 17x8.5 motegi trail lites @ 23.92lbs Deepest offset is +18mm but your wheel bearings won't die tomorrow and you won't be throwing boulders with 12mm of poke You can get (a little) lighter and...
  15. Ever order from csp racing?

Anyone have any experience with this retailer? Assuming it's authentic, seems like a smoking price on warn 10k evo s (or did I miss a reman notice?)...
  16. What happened to ASS?

Joke's ASSide, have you changed your brake pedal foot pressure at all? Too light on the brake and your ass won't engage. I actually use this as a technique when I know I'm not going to be stopped long and let the starter live 1 out of a bajillion more starts
  17. New Bronco Raptor JTops Bimini installed photos

The blue looks awesome from the outside with your (velocity?) blue. Been leaning to it for my vb 2dr, or black, for max outward visibility... On that note, how is trying to look up thru the blue? Would you mind posting pic looking thru it at object beyond like tree, etc?
  18. Mishimoto High Mount IC Installed

Right you are, 20" on the line. BUT, if we aspire to never again allow the ic shutter to live on our trucks, we could cut the mounting tabs and then clear 21-1/2"...think that opens up options even more... Didn't have square but looks like 1-1/2" from face of pads to front inside corner of bolt...
