  1. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

Ford knows which dealers these orders are coming from. I would assume it would raise a red flag if they noticed some smaller dealers having so many reservations being converted to orders. If that is a problem for Ford in relation to their larger dealers, this should have been addressed very...
  2. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

Why is that a fair solution? They had an agreement for a good price, and Ford was completely aware of this because it was within the rules that Ford set up. And now they're going back on that. That's the issue. If Ford decides starting in MY2022, they are going back to their old way of doing...
  3. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

According to the dealers on here, they DID check with Ford. I will take them at their word. If it was a problem for Ford, they would see how many orders were coming from these dealers and they should have notified them or told them they are setting an annual cap on the number of orders. Ford...
  4. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

If the problem is that these smaller dealers have too many reservations/orders, then Ford should have contacted them and/or the customer and told them about the issue. They didn't. At this point, the change to allocation should only affect MY2022 orders going forward. To even suggest that...
  5. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

Which dealers didn't do their jobs correctly?
  6. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

The bolded is irrelevant though. If they want to change it going forward, by all means do that to appease your other dealers. But you need to honor the orders that have already been made. If they didn't like what those dealers were doing, Ford should have done something about it at the time...
  7. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

You keep insinuating this but it doesn't make any sense. Let me preface this by saying my reservation is not with one of these dealers who offered a great deal, so I have no skin in this game. But I would assume that Ford would know which dealer these orders are coming from, right? And at ANY...
  8. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

It's not a loophole if Ford is aware of it. If Ford didn't want this to happen, they could have shut this down quickly or put a cap on the number of orders coming from a dealer. They never did that. This mess is their creation.
  9. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

I don't post a lot on this board, and I have been very patient throughout this process. I haven't been overly critical of Ford even though they have made many, many mistakes the last 18 months. But this mess is of their own making. If you want to control where your Broncos get sent, don't...
  10. Ford begins sending Hardtop Replacement emails to Bronco customers today

It could be they are giving as few specifics as possible based on all the issues they've had and the justifiably negative response they've received.
  11. Ford begins sending Hardtop Replacement emails to Bronco customers today

If they narrowed down the estimate, and then something happened that caused another delay, what do you think the reaction would be on this board?
  12. Who's a 7/19 build?

Yep, just got it as well
  13. ⛔️ [Update: Scheduling Cancelled For 10/18 Build Week]: Bronco scheduling this upcoming week (of 8/30) for production build weeks 10/4, 10/11, 10/18

From my understanding, the dealrers the only people who get this preview information. We just happen to be on a message board where dealers give out this information. So is Ford really doing anything wrong to us?
  14. An open letter to Ford - Solution to Dirt Mountain

Just because we didn't see a pic doesn't mean Ford doesn't have a group of people checking them.
  15. An open letter to Ford - Solution to Dirt Mountain

The weather in Michigan is apparently much worse than I thought it was.
  16. An open letter to Ford - Solution to Dirt Mountain

Do car in dealer lots never get snowed on? I don't want my Bronco sitting there for months either, but a lot of the concerns people have wouldn't be mitigated by sending these to the dealers.
