I'm manual but don't want the mid package but if I did, I honestly would be upset if they didnt charge less for it since manuals cant have many of the things that come with the mid package. That said, I might have ended up ordering it though just for the heated seats for the wife. I can't...
You'll always get $825 off. The question is how much will your BD MSRP go up, $250 or $825.
Price protection means that if you order the exact same thing you had ordered in 21, you'll pay the exact same '21s MSRP. Ford raised the price a few hundred across the board which is what you see for...
You get ~$500 off. The base price of the BD went up ~$300. If you want to upgrade the bumper to what it was, that costs ~$500 so you'll be even Steven.
Well the date is important because that's the date Ford set for price protection and all of that. It's sorta the official cutoff of OG reservations and new ones.
I think that's the point. It doesn't matter when you placed the reservation, just who is last even if it is a day 1 at Granger...
Without more information, this doesn't really tell us anything. Ford could say 2 doors have priority and yay for me and they give 2 doors all the good stuff. Or, they say 4 doors are more important and all the good stuff goes to them and we're SOL.
So really, this only communicates what...
Pretty much everything needs a chip. Well, other than the bull bar, that's insane. What's irritating though is that Tesla managed to fix this problem yet somehow Ford just can't. :(
Contact Ford. They've been letting people switch dealers if the dealer is charging ADM.
I just can't see the value in Sasquatch in anything other than base. There is a good thread somewhere discussing it. As for mid, like I said, manual so other than heated seats, which I dislike, what's the point. Though it might not even be available for manual 2 door BD. Honestly never...
We're quite happy with our bronco sport (with moon roof) as our practical daily driver. If the roof thing is important, (I get it, it's half the reason I'm still waiting after so long), I wouldn't go Badlands if I were you. Outer banks with advanced 4x is my recommendation or Black Diamond...
Finally saw my first Bronco in the wild the other day and I couldn't help but stop and look... I keep telling myself that maybe by the time I get mine, I won't have to put up with the gawkers.
As said, a lot goes into the cars decision to turn off or not. If you want to test, just come to a stop and sit there. After a minute or so, the car will turn back on to prevent draining the battery. If you're really bored, do the same but mess with the AC and all that to see the difference.
My thoughts exactly although I was comparing BD vs Base Manual Sasquatch. My use case is very close to yours.
I can totally understand those that decide otherwise though.
I'm thinking if you stick with any stock tire, you'll be fine if you drive according to the conditions. But, as Psute mentioned, you start getting into big ol tires made for other conditions, might be worth looking into a snow set or swapping back to the stock set for a few months each year...
