I'm 357 base hard top with no other accessories and an 11/10 blend date, chat said yesterday the same ETA as before, so either they don't know or things are progressing.
I just hit up chat and they said that mine is waiting on a chip but still said the estimated delivery date was early December... not sure what to make of that.
So, throwback to this thread where my dealer on multiple occasions did not update my bronco order (I actually have emails showing I submitted for a 4-door, it was changed to a 2-door and they never updated the order again after multiple requests and multiple confirmations by them that they did)...
My dealer emailed me proactively for the first time since I placed my order saying they have no update but that if I wish to cancel, please let them know.
Seems like an indication my build may arrive soon and they're fishing for inventory to mark up.
I learned quickly that my expectations were accurate and that there is very little they can do.
🤦🏻‍♂️
here’s to hoping this other reservation isn’t too late in the game.
Naw, I’ve got receipts.
I had 2 people “confirm” they changed my order and as we now know, never did.
(I was a little bitchy at the end admittedly)
I actually did reach out to the couple of listings on ebay to see if they were getting any traction on interest.
I don't mind flipping it and trying to help pay for my eventual build, but I feel like that's unlikely a realistic price point.
Base+Sasquatch / 2.3L / MIC top / carbonized grey. ~$38k MSRP
I would want to flip it if I could find a buyer beforehand so I didn't end up holding a bag. Not even sure what market price is for them considering no one has one yet. It's definitely a new situation to be in and I get to make a...
I appreciate the support here folks. More than I got out of Ford or even the dealership.
Thoroughly wished I wanted a 2-door, but hope to start a family next year and need that extra set of (removable) doors!
The honest concern is holding the 2door and it selling for less than I paid, thus I end up paying an extra $5k+ for the same vehicle I wanted to begin with.
If I can find someone who wants to 2-door, I'll probably hold that reservation, otherwise... I'm taking them up on the later reservation...
I am so frustrated that I could have had the vehicle of my dreams, but instead the wrong model is on order (July-19 build date) and I get to decide whether to try and sell it or just let the dealer keep it and sell it.
What should have been a celebration has turned into a PITA.
They just gave me an additional order for a 4-door that doesn’t have a build date yet but was apparently available.
So, I have my name on a 2-door and a 4-door….
