Yeah, this assumes everything is properly tuned. Using an amp with a built in DSP, like the kicker key, makes this all automatic. My system was well balanced after it did its magic.
Yes absolutely.
I wouldn’t mix brands of speakers because each brand or even model within the same brand will reproduce the sound a little differently.Find one series you like and match the 4” with the 6.5”.
I want a winch, but Ford and the aftermarket haven’t done us any favors in this area yet. The design choices for locations of the sensors and camera from ford were short sighted in this area. The aftermarket hasn’t solved it nicely yet.
I installed mine today. Very easy to install if you have an exhaust hanger tool. You will want a magnet to help fish the bolts through the frame. Took about 20 minutes total to remove the stock exhaust and install this.
It sounds much better to me at startup, but the verdict is still out on...
I agree that it is the best looking trim from the factory, but that doesn’t mean the trim level makes sense.
Based on what it’s marketed for, high speed off roading, it should come standard with Hoss 3.0 and a washout interior.
Without either of those it’s an OBX Sasquatch with black accents...
Thank you for this. I feel a little better now. I’ll report back with my impressions after I install this week. How long should I plan for the install?
That’s a little concerning for me because that model is listed as “aggressive-moderate” sound level and I ordered the Outlaw listed as “aggressive.”
I guess it won’t be hard to revert back to stock and it only costs $130.
No, you get a good amount of bass from the 6.5s with the amp. The sub adds that little extra which I like, but you can have a nice balanced system without it.
