The standard answer for any part on your 4x4 - When you beef up a weak link, it passes the loading on to other parts.
On our Broncos... Beef the tie rod up, it will be passing that load into the steering rack.

Have driven and wheeled JL/JTs since they were introduced. Owned and wheeled a JK for almost four years, have wheeled TJs, YJs, CJs, XJs, ZJs and even old school flatties (along with a lot of other 4x4s).
If you are larger in statue, the Bronco is so much more comfortable inside.
