    I should also note that I wasn't sure that a hard shackle would still fit on the front recovery points with the metal skid plate before cutting... fortunately they do still fit as do soft shackles.

    I did it, but cut 4 ~1"x1" slots out of the new front skid plate in order to keep the recovery points usable. There is a little bit of a gap between the plastic bumper cover and the skid plate, but you don't really notice it unless you are looking at the vehicle from a very low vantage point.

    Unless air was introduced to the ABS module (think running out of brake fluid while ABS or ESC was active), there shouldn't be a need to do the ABS module bleed. Just do a manual 2 person bleed, and if the brakes feel spongy do a few ABS stops, then re-do the 2 person manual bleed again...
