I've never had this issue. The vehicle choice wouldn't matter as it's the phone that is pushing to the screen. This could be some weird Apple + Google maps not playing well together issue
You are correct in that the ratio is fixed. That was a mistake on my part when I was explaining that. What isn't fixed though is the amount of fuel and air entering the cylinder. The higher octane fuel allows for higher cylinder pressure.
It depends on what you mean by better. There might be some that are more durable or have additional features like a hidden winch, but in my opinion most of the aftermarket ones are ugly.
This is the one I bought https://morrflate.com/shop/morrflate-multi-tire-air-kits/morrflate-quad-4-tire-air-kit/
There are multiple options out there including DIY instructions if you're interested.
I had a similar experience with IAG recently. I just received my new steps after sending them photos of my current steps. The turn around was very fast, though I haven't had a chance to get the new steps on since it's been raining. Overall it's been a great customer service experience.
I like the idea, though I agree that the winch is underpowered. I had some ideas rolling around for an easily removable winch so it's cool to see people trying things
Also, I found this thing.

yeesh, crime happens all over the country. Massachusetts has a fairly low crime rate and I've had my car broken into. I remember the city I was living in at the time was rated one of the best to raise a family in the U.S while I was there. It sucks when it happens but none of this is new.
I've liked the steps but mine started rusting with a few months after installing them. The driver's side is badly rusted, the passenger isn't looking great, and the rear passenger side is also showing signs of rust. I've had my bronco since July, but I've only driven 6k miles.
