Hey all! I am interested in how you got your Bronco, either by lease, finance or did you pay cash for it? I leased mine and have about a year and a half left on my lease. Then I am planning on purchasing it.
If you are comfortable share your thoughts on what choice you did and why!
@PrepVet I actually purchased these and they work great. With the softop open, it does increase the wind noise level especially on the freeway. However, with the softop closed, I have never had any issues as you describe. One thing that did happen, is that I stripped out one of the bolts, so now...
And got beat with a thumbs down to go along with it. I knew what he was going to do, so I thought I would try. Sport mode, with a short lag until the turbos kicked in...... Wahhh :(
@EasternSierra Welcome to Sacramento! I have been here since 2013, transplanted from Southern California. I am always exploring along the western front of the Sierras and there is some great 4x4 opportunities in our area. One easy day trip I would suggest....head up 80 (EB) and in Truckee take...
I am looking for B-Pillar Covers for my Bronco, similar to the picture below. However, I am looking for ones that have a sasquatch/bigfoot design rather than an American Flag. I have looked on amazon etc. and have not seen any. Hoping someone here might be able to help!
Thanks, but I think you are referring to the soft tonneau cover. I am talking about the hard one that basically turns the back area into a secured "trunk".
I have searched the forums and have seen topics on the Ford Tonneau Cover, but cannot find the answers I am looking for. Maybe someone can help with my two questions:
1. Can it be installed if I have a soft top?
2. I have molle panels on the rear triangles where the rear windows are (between...
@murrman When it is raining I personally drive in Sport Mode. The reason being is when you take off from a light, your acceleration is kicked in on all four wheels rather than just your rear wheels. I would never never drive in 4H on pavement whether it be dry or wet.
Yes....that would be another feature I forgot about that would be great to have.
What about the tailgate that both folds down and opens like a swing gate and still has a window within it. That would be rad as well.
What are your thoughts on future models of the Bronco adding a retro flair from the 1990s that include:
- A pull-down tail gate rather than a swing tail gate.
- Roll down rear window that goes into the pull-down tail gate for a hardtop option.
Just basing this on the 1990 Bronco my dad still has.
Completed a DYI Tonneau cover for the back cargo area when my soft top is off. How do I make it secure? Four U bolts on the corners that attached to 15-inch chains that connect to the ties down points. The portion closest to the tailgate connects to the main plywood via two hinges. That way I...
