Yup....and it's pretty hefty stitching too...so that shows how well the vinyl actually weathers.
Also all this talk about hot vinyl. I have never found the seats to be overly hot in the summer in the boat. No doubt because they're white. But I mean any car sitting in the parking lot is gonna...
yup, very true. But I have to say I have a 1989 Formula 292 SR1, dunno if Formula use exceptionally good vinyl but it is still in excellent, pliable, soft condition. And it spends a lot of time in the sun and wet over the last 31 years. The part that has given up in some areas is the...
yup...stupid "Max Traction" tire not mud-terrain ...haha, I've read about them. Weird that Goodyear chose an acronym that already exists in the off-road world
Lol, lets just say that those that want Squatch have their own reasons, that vid didn't tell me anything that I don't know, just confirmed it....granted marginally more expensive. But BL, 2500, which is basically the cost of the tires, plus a few parts. So it's if you want 33s or 35s.
As long...
Ya, think you must chill a bit. I watched the whole vid. He repeated a lot of shit, but with that said I still thought it was a good video and informative IF you are planning on doing the trans American run or going to Africa. However, I can’t speak for anyone here but what? Maybe 1% (just a...
I haven’t seen them but there was a close up shot of them back in this thread. Didn’t look woven to me. It was textured for sure. I dunno how you could make it woven and waterproof.
Ah, I understand. Vinyl seems like the way to go. Who cares how much it was used the bronco is not even a year old and it’s already creased up. I’m with you I think vinyl is the winner here.
does that mean your not getting 35s? His whole video was about not getting 37s lol
his points are certainly valid but I guess in the end 35s are right in between so best of both worlds?
I honestly haven’t decided what to do yet but like others I kinda like the look and honestly never see...
And some photos of Velocity Blue for those on the fence about AMB.
I changed my mind about VB, it is very nice and on the right vehicle (read, Bronco/Mustang/F150) it looks very good. I thought it was a lot lighter and maybe a bit weak but after seeing it in person it’s quite nice. I still...
Hey guys short useless video of lightning blue lol.
I have other vids on that channel as well...sadly, I don’t make money from YouTube just have it if people wanna see the car/color.
i had a 2013 bmw 135i and I’m pretty sure it was full leather. Very nice leather and smelled AMAZING for years.
I should note that most leathers in cars today are also coated with some sort of UV polyurethane coating for stain and UV resistance. It prolly would still dry out but they’re not...
wow, that’s a pretty bold thing to say, lol. I like it, I’m getting Badlands so this is stock on it...hmm, all this time I didn’t know if I should upgrade to leather (or would it be a downgrade? Haha) ...vinyl easier to clean, etc...hmm
no odd smells or anything?
I need details on the feel of this vinyl. I think they look great, so that's kinda moot for me (I'd say the vinyl may look a bit better imo). I'm good with either, but love the smell of a good leather.
Does the vinyl have any weird vinyly smell to it? Or just smells like new car adhesives...
That's because it's no doubt a typo. lol. or they tested badlands on the ramp and that's what they wrote in the spec sheet. either way, i strongly believe it's a misunderstanding.
I'm really doubting that front camera on the Overland concept will be usable anymore. Is there any plans to relocate that for Broncos that are ordered with a winch? No way it's seeing anything but the back of the winch!
