  1. mObridge B&O Stereo Upgrade Installation Video

@mjp2 , @RagnarKon - compliments on a great video! @RagnarKon 's previous videos helped A LOT with my build, and also his comment on one of my older threads - "just get a mObridge and be done with it!" Gratefully I took his advice and installed the mObridge system myself. Unfortunately I did...
  2. Hertz CX 100 VS DCX 100 Speakers

Great! Guess I’ll pull the trigger on them soon. Also realized through this I should have gotten the mid-range MillePro instead of the coax for the kicks…might move the coax to the SSV pods and switch to the midrange.
  3. Hertz CX 100 VS DCX 100 Speakers

Thanks for the reply! I have Hertz MillePro coax in the kicks and Stinger tailgate sub. I’m pretty happy with the sound, don’t feel like there is too much treble and I’m using the Hertz tune from Fraiser on the Mobridge. Just wondering if I’ll notice a substantial difference in sound quality...
  4. Hertz CX 100 VS DCX 100 Speakers

Reviving this thread before I start a separate - I currently have the DCXs in my dash, but I installed them prior to installing the Mobridge amp. Now I'm wondering if I should upgrade to the CXs as I have plenty of power with the Mobridge...so question is are the CXs significantly better than...
  5. What is the latest consensus on speaker upgrades for B&O

When I was running the stock system (pre-Mobridge upgrade) I had the PRV in the Center. I preferred it over another Hertz DCX (I bought a single off the forum) as it threw off the soundstage (too much center output) and had an awful "hissing" sound on some songs. I actually went back to the...
  6. What is the latest consensus on speaker upgrades for B&O

I would go with the CX if you are definitely going with the Mobridge. As I mentioned in the previous post, the DCX are great if you are not adding an amp to the system - the high sensitivity works well with the limited power. With the Mobridge - you have up to 75 RMS output to those channels...
  7. What is the latest consensus on speaker upgrades for B&O

I have the Mobridge Amp/DSP and currently running Hertz DCX 100.3 in all three fronts in the dash and Hertz Mille Pro in the kicks - Stinger tailgate for the sub. Very happy with the set up, but might switch out to the Hertz CX for the corner dash, just to handle the additional power from the...
  8. Mobridge Amp for B&O bronco review

I have PLENTY of bass with my set up and running the most recent Bronco/Hertz tune with the Stinger tailgate sub. Some songs do seem more balanced than others, but I’m not blaming that on the system or tune as 90% of my playlist I’m very happy with.
  9. B&O Kick Panel vs Memphis Audio MJP6

I have to agree with GRONCO. I upgraded the pods (SSV) and dash (Hertz 100.3) - didn’t do the kicks as I also heard not worth it. While it helped, it wasn’t worth it until I swapped everything out with the Mobridge kit and added the Stinger tailgate sub (Hertz MillePro in the kicks). Expensive...
  10. B&O speakers and power whats under powered?

I recently installed the @mObridge amp (I LOVE it - you won’t be disappointed!!!) and can clarify some info. The Mobridge amp/DSP powers ALL the speakers (75 W for the fronts, center and rear, 150 W for the kick panels, 400 W for the sub output). All are controlled and tuned through the DSP...
  11. To upgrade B&O system......or not??

Just meant I’d recommend buying and installing the Mobridge kit at the outset rather than just a speaker and/or sub upgrade or the Kicker amps. The Mobridge will power all the new speakers AND the sub with more than enough power and ultimate tuning ability. It is costly (I was super lucky and...
  12. To upgrade B&O system......or not??

Just an additional tip…I’d highly recommend going straight to the Mobridge rather than do a piece meal approach with other harnesses, just a subwoofer upgrade, etc. You’ll still have to pull some trim in any situation and best to do it just once and be done. I’m no audiophile, but was never...
  13. To upgrade B&O system......or not??

Yep, B&O - the Mobridge kit is only for the B&O. And yes, I did replace all the speakers as well - Hertz DCX 100.3 in the front 3, Hertz MillePro for the kick panel speakers and SSV Works for the rear. In hindsight I should have gotten the Hertz CX for the front - they would better handle the...
  14. To upgrade B&O system......or not??

I didn’t take many pictures, but the instructions on the website has a picture for each step. The kit comes with all the needed wiring - you do have to take off most of the interior trim to run, but you don’t have to mess with any of the OEM speaker wires. You have to pull the harness connection...
  15. To upgrade B&O system......or not??

Figured I’d chime in here since I just completed the install of the Mobridge DSP/ amp and a Stinger tailgate sub. I highly recommend both - especially the Mobridge. To answer some of your questions - it’s a pretty simple and straightforward installation- and I’ve never done anything like it...
  16. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Ceramic coating following a successful installation of the amazing @mObridge amp/DSP and Stinger tailgate sub! Thanks to all who posted tips on the @mObridge!!!
  17. Upgrading B&O system. Has anyone done this?

Thanks Fraiser! This is the wiring diagram I was going off of. If that doesn't work was planing on cutting into your harness for the pink wires - if I do that can I just join the 2 pinks and 2 pink/silvers with those lever connectors to a 14 AWG wire?
  18. Upgrading B&O system. Has anyone done this?

So I just installed the mobridge amp/dsp and tested it out with the stock sub and sub connection and was working fine. I clipped the stock wires from the female green connector and used lever connectors to 14 AWG wire (pictured) to wire to the new Stinger (AudioControl) tailgate sub. Now sound...
