  1. Anyone know the cost of a 1966 Bronco when it was new?

Indexed to inflation, it would cost $17,734 in 2020 dollars Uncledoodoo, you are the fastest calculator in TX
  2. 4-Door Too Small?

You know the answer; you just need to go through the 7 stages of grief. When you are saying good-bye to your Bronco aspirations in stage 7, definitely consider the Raptor. My family of four -- and often one friend -- raved about the spaciousness and comfort of the Raptor on long trips. With a...
  3. OBX running boards

My experience as well -- the side steps on my Raptor have prevented door dings from the self absorbed (have been able to watch them in action on a couple of occasions).
  4. Camouflaged topper on Bronco prototype a pop-up camper roof tent or power soft top?

Isn’t the real answer that it is completely irrelevant as to its function because it is so fugly no one would ever purchase it?
  5. What Bronco swag gifts has your dealer sent you?

Nothing -- other than a phone call stating that they did not have any Broncos on the lot now but would have some in a week or two. Really? Geez.
  6. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Thank you Stephens -- I will be talking to you in October!
  7. Anyone else thinking of ceramic coating their new Bronco?

I find the high quality synthetic waxes do a fantastic job at preserving an automobile's finish. I have only professionally ceramic coated one vehicle (my wife's car - BMW X5 for a cost of $2K) and there is no question it made maintenance of the finish easier. However, I will probably not coat...
  8. Build and Price for 2021 Bronco soon?

Ram launched its TRX this afternoon; looks like an amazing truck (at an amazing price -- $90K heavily optioned). One novel concept for Ram's launch -- the Ram TRX build site was up and running after the launch. Incredible foresight. Granted, the Ram TRX goes to production prior to the Bronco...
  9. Factory bumper with a winch or something different???

They thought of it for the Raptor - I have a winch behind my bumper. Hopefully, they thought if it for our Broncos!
  10. Granger to GA shipping / GA dealer

I will provide my local dealer (Wade Ford) an opportunity to match Granger -- at least I thought I would. I read Granger's business philosophy on the other "Granger" thread and may change irrespective. The honesty and straight-forwardness is beyond refreshing. Also, 14 hours is not too long...
  11. Chainsaw recommendations

I use Stihl chainsaws as well as other Stihl power equipment -- I made several other brand purchases trying to save a buck or two before I fell into, and stayed, in the Stihl camp. They have several models of chainsaws to address various needs. Good luck and be safe!
  12. Fans of light bars. Questions

I have light bars on my Raptor (after market front bumper with internal winch) and they have been extremely helpful off-road and in unique situations. Yes, there are many people who run their light bars in normal traffic; unacceptable. However, light bars can be an extraordinary benefit in...
  13. Metro Atlanta

I posted on other threads as well, but this thread is spot on -- I reserved at Wade Ford and they confirmed that they will honor all Ford Plans if they are available (Badlands reservation). If there are better deals out there, I am a reservation away from changing!
  14. Badlands Bronco Thread

Also in Atlanta with a reservation at Wade Ford.
  15. Bronco Questions? Ask a Ford dealer

I believe NHTSA required back up cameras on all new cars produced after May 2018.
  16. Broke my own rule of never buying first year model

This thread is therapy for me; I broke the same self imposed rule.
  17. Bronco Dealers: No-ADM, X-Plans & Special Discounts Master List

I have a reservation for a Badlands at Wade Ford in Atlanta Georgia. I asked if Wade Ford would honor X Plan pricing if Ford permitted X Plan pricing on the Bronco. His response: "If ... Ford provide X plan for Bronco and if ... you're eligible for X plan. There is no reason you can't get...
