I really don't get the whole tint numbers. That is if you count up or down on filtered light. I did notice a real change in comfort level when they got tinted. Tinted Base Bronco +1 over max. No problems driving at night.

I would suggest cutting the oil filter apart and inspect visually and with a magnet. Have an oil analysis done on the oil in it now and do the same again at 1500 miles after repairs are made. That would be if they do not replace the engine.
