As you said, it isnt meant to replace a longer duty cycle/heavier duty compressor. I could see me reaching for it to top off the wife's tires occasionally instead of poppong the hood, dragging out the compressor bag, attaching to the battery, etc. (the reason I'm looking hard at an onboard ARB)...

SUV Body Maintenance, you?

Maybe its parts. We've been down a couple of days now on the SUV side waiting for some part or another.

The cab structure is steel, but I believe the exterior sheet metal is aluminum. ETA: I stand corrected. Steel it is.

My thoughts are, you can't prove a negative. Someone may have 100k with a bug deflector and nary a rock chip or strike to the windshield, but perhaps they've made it that far with no rocks being tossed up in front of them.
