IDK… the theory didn’t hold true for me. Yesterday when I lost my WS and when it came back the date was oddly 11/12 vs the original 11/11. Today it does show 11/19 though.

I’m wondering if the root cause really is the valves dropping? I’ve seen the post where a Lima motor employee(they deleted their account shortly after the post..likely to Fords demand) seem to indicate a bad batch of valves affecting April build motors, but obviously it’s not true with the ones...

Mine is scheduled for this Saturday, but it’s looking like they are a day behind. I might be pushed to Monday.

can you give the VIN number as well? mpeugeot has been tracking this issue with the 2.7. He can lookup when the engine itself was manufactured.

@69 Mach I Do you use regular or premium gas? Have you done an oil change(if so…6qrts or 7 qrts)?

I could never get it to work for me. I get “Google Docs encountered an error. Please try reloading this page, or coming back to it in a few minutes.” When I try to open the link.

I wonder if the over fill or under fill of the oil has lead to the demise of some of the 2.7 motors that we’ve been seeing?
