  1. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU'RE BORED OFF YOUR ASS

Name checks out... Edit: Damnit i was two posts too late!
  2. Roll cage?

That's good to know and reinforces my interest in tube doors or those weird cutout doors... A big advantage of the Bronco over my 4runner is being able to run "naked" as you say.
  3. Roll cage?

You're nuts. Haha, last week was nice but god d*** it's still hot this weekend. I guess I'm still soft. Do you ever worry about vandals when you park your open jeep at the supermarket?
  4. My in-person first impressions with Granger Ford & Ford Ranger 2.3L

As a former Iowan who has spent a lot of tike in NY I didn't even have to look over to see where you were from. Joke or not NYers are some of the most judgmental I've ever met.
  5. Airing up (after airing down for camping and offroading)?

One more thing I'd like to add. I feel like the ARB is overkill unless you do a TON of offroading. Otherwise I would go with a viair or similar. I love the ARB but it is indeed a ton of coin to Mr. Pike's comments (although the cheaper model is only 4 beaver pelts :ROFLMAO:). My initial post was...
  6. Airing up (after airing down for camping and offroading)?

That's weird that it even gives you an option. Here's what I see immediately after clicking the link. But yeah the twin compressor one is REAL expensive, I forgot about that even existing.
  7. Airing up (after airing down for camping and offroading)?

$900 USD? It's $350 right now on amazon in my link and I paid just under $300 when it was on sale. A portable equivilant to onboard air isn't cheap!
  8. Airing up (after airing down for camping and offroading)?

I have one of these which is basically a ARB onboard air compressor setup in a box to be portable...
  9. Question regarding rear flip up glass.

The rack is a legit solution for a few boards and I do keep forgetting about that. One downside is it's surprisingly easy to exceed the ~100lb capacity of the rack with lumber though. Probably once every 5-10 years for me though at which point a rental would make more sense.
  10. Question regarding rear flip up glass.

Trailers aren't too hard so long as you can see the corners of the trailer in your rear camera or window when backing up. Thankfully big box hardware stores have massive parking lots so you just take up 10 spaces and the edge of the low and no one cares. Just go slow and pay attention you'll be...
  11. Question regarding rear flip up glass.

Right and the glass probably has a defroster as well.. hadn't thought of that stuff. I hope you guys are right about just leaving it up but it seems the wrangler people have had plenty of time to troubleshoot. Lowes is only a couple city miles down the road from me so I wouldn't be going fast...
  12. Question regarding rear flip up glass.

I feel like I've seen some that mount to the underside of your roof? It was for a different vehichle and I may have just imagined it. Also have you seen the outerbanks "fishing guide"? :ROFLMAO...
  13. Question regarding rear flip up glass.

I've had this debate since the release of the bronco. I too consider a trailer but it doesn't really work for me because I don't have a place to store it except in my backyard. Which is fine except I have a block wall with just a walk gate to get into the yard. Harbor freight has a folding...
  14. *Look away Dave Ramsey enthusiasts* -- Buying Bronco with cash out home refinance?

What's scary is this isn't that far fetched of a prediction... I bought a new Mazda 2 in 2012 and financed most of it on a 5 year loan. That felt like forever, I can't imagine the 7+ years they have now. I don't regret financing that car at all because of where I was in life (also was 0%...
  15. *Look away Dave Ramsey enthusiasts* -- Buying Bronco with cash out home refinance?

Well I installed a solar system that 100% replaces my electrical needs and I am net metered for another 19 years or so. So I don't really pay for power just a connection fee to use the grid. How can I eliminate the other monthly fees without starting my own utility company? Because I would if I...
  16. How much are you spending?

Cash + whatever I can sell my 4runner for. Had not planned on buying a new car anytime soon so it'll be a couple of years realistically before it happens.
  17. *Look away Dave Ramsey enthusiasts* -- Buying Bronco with cash out home refinance?

This tells me you're already rationalizing spending the money on other things (investing) rather than putting the extra money back into the mortgage as a "car payment". My advice is don't do it. Do the refinancing part and investing part but leave the bronco for later when you can pay cash. It's...
  18. Granger Ford - Out of state customers

If you want fast food burger you flat out can't beat b-bops burgers and their fries... And chocolate shakes. I know you said brewries but if you are interested in wine check out snus hill winery. It's pretty close to granger and is down a dirt road. So it's almost offroading to get there, haha.
  19. Resell value: Badlands Vs Rubicon

I don't think the sasquach package comes with underbody protection, rockers, steel bumpers that you have on the badlands.
  20. LLOD: 2021 BRONCO - Hands-On Impressions and Interior Details at Super Celebration!

I noticed that too. Pretty happy with it as well as the interior. It looks better in this video than the pics we've been seeing for some reason. I just hope the vinyl holds up better than the leather.
