Has anyone ever had ETIS say that it "cannot download this data from PTI service"? Maybe a good thing? Probably nothing? Do I need to take a chill pill?
Looking at his signature, looks like his blend date was originally 7/22 and he received the updated built email on 10/15. He seems to be letting OP know that he has now received his shipped email so they can update his records on the tracker.
That's because it would be out of the ordinary for a dealer to charge a markup on a custom ordered car. No dealer would negotiate with a customer to order a specific car, hand them a DORA, then upcharge them $10k when it arrived at the dealership. These are not lot cars.
It's weird to me how many people on this site seem to enjoy dunking on people getting hosed by these dealers, who gloat "yOu DIdN't GeT A SiGNeD cOnTRAct!!!" over a person getting taken advantage of at the very end of a very long wait for something they want very much. Regardless of the...
That's right on the border of October/November, so if we're here at this point in October then I think it's reasonable to assume that a lot of people who were told November will see build emails in October.
It'll be interesting to see where it ends up - by my count, we've had about 313 released from September 14-October 17, about 9.5 per day, with 281 of those coming since September 24. Taking out the soft tops from the count, and assuming we stay at that clip, then it should hopefully be all clear...
I would love to believe that, as literally all my trackers are currently all "null", but, having seen this happen several times before, I think it's more likely just website maintenance as they update for 2022 ordering.
I think they're updating things now that the 2022 order banks are open, which is what's causing all the various blackouts/issues. I was unable to access it for most of the afternoon, but now it's working again.
If FIFO is real, it's on replacing roofs, not necessarily updating/shipping. Tracker is definitely showing that released Broncos are at least trending in that direction.
It seems to be going much slower this week than it did last week, which is a little concerning. I thought we might be done by the end of the month if we were doing 100/week as we had the previous weeks. Must be pushing out a lot of new production this week.
All good man, and no you shouldn't blame yourself. Ford apparently has this byzantine internal process for allocating cars which they grossly oversimplified in their communications and change at will without notice.
I think we all learned about allocations on this site, very few of us came in here having any idea about how this system worked. My point was that we had no way of knowing if or how those would change over time, and I find the "I told you so" attitude, when there was no way for us to know...
