I liken driving on OB 18" alloys to picking your nose - somewhat satisfying to you, but disgusting to anyone looking at you. :) :) Joking aside, for me its form follows function. I'm seeking to balance 90% daily driver with adventure vehicle for park roads/fire roads. Those 32" 70-series...
Hi rgwinn, you can get a pretty decent steak at Bob's Steak and Chophouse in Grapevine, not too far from the airport. (https://bobs-steakandchop.com/). There are also Bob's on Lemmon Ave. in Dallas, and at the Omni Hotel in downtown Fort Worth. All pretty good.
However, if you're willing to...
Thank you! Yes, I did note Black/Roast leather on the OB Fishing Guide concept. (Like probably most of us I poured over everything that came out of the ride-along. :) ) Honestly looks pretty good. But Black/Roast and Navy Pier are the only OB choices, cloth or leather? Personally I won't be...
Thanks McFly. With your reply I was able to search the forum and find the original thread "Leaked 2021 Bronco Options Decoded. . ." dated 7 July. I dunno. . . .
Help please. Why do we think Wildtrak has a different set of standard and optional Interiors than what’s available on Outer Banks? As I look over specs the Wildtrak is a V6 Outer Banks with Sasquatch and a different set of GOAT modes. Interior descriptions are the same. (Likewise Badlands...
I just love seeing every. single. dog. on this thread. So much personality, and easy to see they are all loved. Thanks JAGSarge for starting this and all for sharing your furry friends!
We have three now - more than I wanted, a lot of attention needed, but wouldn't give up any. Sharing one...
I was just surfing YouTube (when is that Build & Price going to be up??) and came across "Sturgill Simpson: Live at the Ryman, Nashville, TN, 6/5/2020". I was totally unfamiliar with Sturgill Simpson. Bluegrass isn't my typical go-to, but I like anything good. This is some fine music and...
Hi North7, thanks - yes, will work up 2.7L/auto. Looking for a graph of 2.7L EB hp & torque curves but no joy so far. Signed, nurd who's killing time until Build & Price comes on line. . . . ?
Hi AH64DB2 (you badass Apache guy - Hooah), if you plan to mount 33" on the Outer Banks you'd probably do best to go up to the optional 4.27:1 rear axle ratio instead of standard 3:73:1 to offset the engine RPM drop with the larger tires. You want torque curve to be in the right place during...
For any interested I updated the 2.3L gear ratio / speed calculator spreadsheet to reflect no Sasquatch with 7MT (thanks HeritageRider), and add a second tab for 2.3L with 10-speed auto.
I'm impressed with the work Ford engineers did with gear sets and tires. Optimized to keep the engine...
Hi npco, welcome from a fairly new poster myself. Lots of speculation if you look at the various threads. The way I'm estimating Outer Banks price is First Edition minus the cost of the Sasquatch package. ~$55K, maybe a bit more for a 4-door, smidge less for a 2-door. Completely guessing.
Nice! Great and easy to understand explanation. I took a cut at an Excel spreadsheet gear ratio / speed calculator for the 2.3L with 7MT. Posted on another thread if any interested in playing with it. (will continue with 2.3L and 2.7L with auto when I have a chance). Bottom line, shows that...
What an awesome song reference for this thread (thank you, Stephen Stills). Me thinks good listening for when that Build & Price is on line. . . .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=921CsfhKzqw
