When I was in the army our 5ton duals would pick up rocks between the two tires the size of softballs. It doesn’t matter the tread separation it will just pick up bigger rocks.
Oh I see what you’re stepping in, sure as long as your throttle input never goes over the minimum to get you down the road your mileage could stay the same. In that case what would have been the point of doing the tune.
