I second the aftermarket disconnects. I would expect them to be in the $200 range for a quality set. Don't get me wrong the BL is really nice but don't get it for the disconnect alone unless you're loaded.
I feel bad for those who wanted the donut doors but this thread makes me happy. I wanted the tube doors but foolishly thought they wouod be less safe than the donut doors. I never thought about it in the terms that Kos put it which makes total sense.
I thought the same... Mandella effect?
I envy you right now. The pandemic moved a lot of my field work (I'm of a U of A lab manager) from early spring to late June... By the way, about a mile past the rooster cogburn ostrich ranch you'll see a bunch of white poles sticking out of the ground on that wide open space every 500 feet...
That's a fair counter point as well. At this time I'm just grumpy about how hot it's been this year and has yet to let up. So my head is obsessed with the idea of staying cool right now haha.
I legitimately never thought of this until you posted it... I wonder if they make a small enough unit that I could shove it in my Bronco. I'll have to look into it and then maybe go back to considering a 4 door.
As an arizonan I need you to elaborate on the A/C unit while camping. Is this just a window unit that you're plugging into an outlet at an rv campground?
That's actually a really good point that I've overlooked. Employee pricing, rebates, etc. Are always on new dealer stock. If I'm paying this kind of money for a vehichle it needs to be exactly like I want it not some random truck off the lot.
Scroll down to the spreadsheet and you'll see a breakdown of all trims pricing with grainger. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/2021-bronco-pricing-savings-spreadsheet-x-plan-vs-invoice-and-below-invoice.2319/
I know for sure the 2dr gets the hard top (obviously) but I think the 4dr is...
Not related to the glass question but I'm really hoping these have the same crash safety as standard doors. I REALLY want the open air experience but I've seen way too many things happen on the streets of Tucson to feel comfortable without doors.
Since the build and price isn't out yet how do you know? It is listed as "optional" in the preliminary ford brochure. Also note that I said I didn't kmow what they would have as a stand alone option.
I feel bad saying this since I signed the petition but I don't know if I will squatch my 7M. I didn't know about the features offered on the BD or BL when the petition originally came out. Now it's largely up to the pricing and what is actually offered as non-package add ons. I think ideally I'd...
