Mine doesn’t even have 4A so it’s not that for me. Right now my dealer has a ticket open with Ford and has told me they’re baffled. So…. Just waiting. 🤷🏼♀️ They did say that they’re had checked connections and ended up stopped because the diagrams they had didn’t match what the computer was...
Oh don’t scare me like this…… all I have right now are warning messages they can’t figure out and an un-turnable steering wheel. And an inability to shift into 4H. But mine did shift into 4x4 and back prior to these errors so that’s good, right?
Not a whole lot. We see the ticket from your dealership, please give us some time, I’ll contact them and I’ll follow up with you Friday…….
However, when I called my dealership back I finally got a manager and he moved me from the rental to a loaner Bronco! So now I’m (temporarily) in a Badlands...
52 hours Bronco-less update.
After numerous phone calls to my dealer I was finally told they still haven’t heard back from Ford and are at a standstill, but will call me as soon as they have something to tell me
The nice lady did provide me a phone number to Ford HQ who I am now on hold with...
Bless it. I hope not. Error messages and warnings at 190 miles. Unable to shift out of 2H and barely able to physically turn the wheel after cranking up the next day at 390, followed by a Powertrain Malfunction/Reduce Power alert in the app.
Did you get Service Vehicle Soon and Check 4x4 error messages? I’ve had a somewhat similar experience and mine is sitting at the dealership for the 2nd day after having it towed on Sunday. I was unable to get it to shift (in neutral) and I could barely turn the wheel.
Yeah I’m not sure if I want to cry or scream. And the local dealership has been so great I can’t even yell at them without feeling bad.
I’m kid and husband free tonight so I’m thinking I’ll drown my sorrows with a book, bath and lots of wine. Or might go straight to the dunkel. 🤦🏼♀️😭😡
I did not because I’m mechanically challenged and the majority of the checklist is Greek to me, but they did tell me they confirmed no loose connections anywhere. That was the first thing they checked for.
Now if someone were to build a pictograph version I could follow that 😂🤣
26.5 hours bronco-less.
Got my update from the service department. They’ve been tracing electrical components and wiring all morning and have been unable to locate the issue. The engineering plans they have don’t match what they’re getting from the computer so they now have to open a ticket...
You don’t. I’ve had it for years and never paid that except when I forget. And even then theyll apply that to your new deal when you get it. Call to cancel it when your free subscription runs out. They’ll transfer you to the cancellation and offer you offers to stay. Don’t accept the first one...
On a less depressing note, I got my first “how do you like that Bronco?” approach on my very first stop at the gas station.
How many times have y’all been approached so far?
