Damn it, I just ordered the other one and I think that one might have fit my needs a little better. Oh well. Still super excited about the first one. Keep up the great work!
I'm with Cat on this one. The treads are what throw rocks and mud, not the axle so this design "Should work" at least on paper. OP, do us a favor and run through some puddles. If you really want to be awesome, take the one side off first for a comparison.
Guess what I'm saying is that I'm...
OP said 45 minute drive so I'm assuming 45 miles. 20 mpg bronco, 2 gallons each way. 40 mpg whatever, 1 so 1 gallon/per trip, 2 per day ~1-2k per year savings.
And I stand by what I said, that's a bit of cash but then again, most people I know spend more on their phones and I can assure you...
I'm with you, both from an environmental point and just from a basic cost point. Driving a Bronco vs something way more fuel efficient is (some quick napkin math, say a gallon each way, 10 gallons a week, 500 gallons a year at $3 so ~$1500 a year) a bit of money, almost cell phone bill money...
Ford spent 1.8 Billion in advertising in 2020. I seriously doubt they would take the bad press just to save a few million by screwing over a very vocal group of gearheads family members go to for car advice.
Now anyone who reserved late, not looking good...
If you're really concerned, Nebraska is like Ohio and you can record phone calls. Call the dealer and ask what the total will be so you can get everything prepared. If they tell you 10k over you know your screwed but at least you'll know it and maybe have time to do something about it. If the...
Oh I think this would be a wonderful gift and would greatly appreciate it and if my brother switches his Jeep to a Bronco, it will be his birthday present. Just something about my personality that I wouldn't buy it for myself is all. Probably why I'm still using a 40 year old claw hammer which...
I think they will offer them through the midcycle update (but only on the 2.3, no new options). After that, too hard to call but I'm not counting on it. Too much in flux. Will Ford stick with their electric goals and only offer a few gas options post 2030? Will they keep it just to stick it...
Lights look great and I really want these but ugh, they are expensive. I know they are high quality but there is a pretty big difference between what I want and what I need with these.
It's funny but I would never consider buying these just so I don't have to use an old fashioned stick to hold up the hood. That said, I would feel very guilty if I wanted to sell a vehicle for 50k+ and not have this standard... Honestly Ford should be buying these in bulk, not us.
I never use coins either but I keep mine filled with quarters and the 2 times a year I need them, I'm sure glad I have them. Or I'm pissed because my daughter stole them for a soda. I can certainly understand your point though!
This insert looks great and I plan to order one once my Bronco...
This.
and especially
Oh, and more water than you think. Like double it. And if your wife is like mine, spare snacks. And more spare snacks. And maybe even vacuum seal a third set behind a fender in case things go real bad...
Excellent work and certainly looks clean. I have to ask though, how much additional room do you get over just folding the rear seats flat? I'm a future 2-door owner but trying to get extra storage space our of a 2-door just seems like trying to get my teenager to say both please and thank you...
Hell no. Sure, say you'll remove negative reviews but 2 weeks from now put them back. I'm glad the OP got his Bronco but what about the next guy, or the 30 after him. The dealers math was simple, the cost to screw the OP over > than what they can screw out of everyone that comes after.
I'm...
