Yeah, I'm from the deep south so heat and humidity are most of the year. I also got to enjoy the rear skylight bunk in the back of our 70's impala's. They actually had floor vents if I recall (maybe they were only for heat). I do remember a trip to the Grand Canyon and the back seat never...
The Focus is a small car. In my TJ, no rear vents no problem - very small area.
I've never had a large vehicle with no rear vent. (Tahoe, Expedition, Grand Cherokee)
I like the idea a few have suggested to use a portable fan. We actually have fans that we use when off-road and A/C off (no...
The floor level a/c vents may make it impossible for me to travel with my dogs. We travel probably 80% of the time with the rear seats folded and our two 100+ lb dogs in the back. Just made a trip in the Wrangler (to off-roadeo) and I think in the 96 degree heat on the 1000 mile round trip not...
Pretty much agree with all described. As a multi jeep owner and having just spent two days at Off Roadeo, yes the Rubicon probably is a better extreme rock crawler. Lifts are fairly simple so getting larger tires on a Wrangler is easy. Not yet sure how difficult lifts will be on Bronco. I...
Don't slap me! I actually got $1500 back from a dealer service department that replaced a computer that wasn't bad. The business has to care what their rating is on BBB. Without BBB I would have been sol.
Whats with the 2 door vs 4 door....not a real comparison. My F150 with the 3.5 will smoke all 0-60 except the only real rocket off-roader 392. Let's see if ford can stuff the 3.5 in there and make some speed.
Yep, I've run across these types at jeep events over the years. I've been wheeling for 30 years in Jeeps, once the 4 door came out it opened up the gates to people that would never have touched a 2 dr. Wrangler. That being said, I still have 2 door TJ, the 4 door JLU and a 4 door Badlands on...
It's amazing they can't get the top right. My JLU top is pretty flawless, even the inside looks nice. A friends 20 year old TJ hardtop still looks good inside and out. The top is becoming my biggest concern on the Bronco. I don't like the soft top look at all on but will have a chance next...
I'd just like one email or phone call from my dealer! Even to say exactly what the OP heard or even just to stay we still don't know anything more than this forum purports to know.
At least it's communication. I think I'd rather at least get marketing emails than nothing at all which was the norm for quite a while. In the meantime, I'm being patient since it's not a primary vehicle and will just add to the stable. I'll go to the off-roadeo in Austin, then take my...
The one thing really going against the Defender and other Rovers...they cannot be flat towed. Not sure the numbers matter but a huge percentage of RV's are towing Wranglers and I bet there will be a large number with Broncos behind RV's in the coming years.
Where you able to drive the high speed section or is that only with a guide driver?
Over the two days, about how much time driving vs instruction. Does the off rodeo seem like a good value if you're paying for a 2nd driver?
Sorry for the questions, thinking about booking but haven't pulled...
I did and was just being fun - go find my earlier post. The POINT I was trying to make a bit tongue and cheek was that I have my jeeps sitting in the garage ready to wheel. Until someone actually has one, including my day 2 reservation/order, we don't really know what they'll be able to do...
The guest fee is simply stupid. I don't mind paying a bit but essentially I feel the guest fee is covering the whole thing. I suspect most people with be going with someone. I'll just go to Hidden Falls in the Jeep for a few days for the price of dinner. Ford is very close to loosing me on...
Still patiently waiting ford to get this show on the road. In the meantime the jeeps are the best and ONLY thing anyone can actually drive. I'm glad I have two. Great weekend wheeling Stoney Lonesome. Not sure the Broncs can handle that place!
I'm Patient so don't really care when we get these. But I do wish Ford was better at communication. Supposedly they're opening up the Off Rodeo but not even clear on that. Hope to get to the one in Austin and hea to Hidden Falls in the JL. In the meantime I'll keep enjoying my jeeps. Have...
Thinking about switching to a MY 22. How will price be affected? will my reservatio spot have any impact? what else might be a concern about changing Currently? Currently a day 2 reservation and march order. 4dr Badlands SAS tow and mic. No idea where I fall on mu dealers list.
I can be patient however ford needs to step up to keep interest. Little dribbles of info and sightings along with teaser videos from the off rodeo just aren't doing it anymore. For all the almost year long reservation/order holders that have stuck it out through the delays and miscommunication...
Dare a bronco to patk next to my Rubi! I'll still be looking at the top of its roof!😀
Now....WHENEVER my Badlands SAS shows up...I'll be be hittin the trails to campare.
With the Delays, they should just open these up all summer for order holders. It would go a long way to keeping our interest and having some incentive for putting up with the ridiculous process we've all been part of. All the anticipation of 'Early Reservation' to getting orders finalized with...
