  1. What do you think 2021 Bronco sale price will be relative to MSRP?

With the "paint protection", "fabric stain repellent" and "space dust air" in the tires... I will guess many will be $2,000 over MSRP.
  2. Visual estimate of 2021 Bronco wheelbase and size (112 inch wheelbase guesstimate)

We had an 84 Bronco. They were definitely wider (think F-150) versus a Ranger.
  3. Visual estimate of 2021 Bronco wheelbase and size (112 inch wheelbase guesstimate)

I measured the bolt spacing on the spare 6x5.5" and deduced it is an 18" wheel with a 32" tall Dueler A/T tire.
  4. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

It appears as though you need some new friends... (jokingly)
  5. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

Having been down the 4 door SUV (Explorer,Tahoe, Land Rover, Grand Cherokee) and 2 door (Wrangler,Explorer Sport) path many times over the past 20 odd years, I prefer the smaller vehicle. Easier to park, more room in the garage, etc. More like a toy, a 4x4 convertible with solid performance. I...
  6. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

I think you meant "tried"... Tired would be a GM product.
  7. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

I read somewhere that the weight increase of hundreds and hundreds of pounds REALLY offsets the performance gains. Then there is the issue of braking and handling, although it is concentrated so low in the chassis. This engineering design reminds me of a 1960-70s die cast Hot Wheels car...
  8. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

Tempur-pedic... He was on the way from Mattress One.
  9. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

A number of points to offer here. 1. The vehicle does appear to have an adjustable height suspension, similar to a Range Rover. Wife had an LR a decade ago, and it worked well for clearing snow banks from plows, etc. Great to avoid rocks or a curb at the mall....It was noisy but suprisingly...
  10. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

A lot of the length of the Jeep is in the front and rear bumper. They are like a shelf on either end. Good for supporting a case of beer, that's about it.
  11. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

I owned a Wrangler Sahara with the 18" factory wheels. Had 255/70/18 Bridgestone Duelers. 32.1" in diameter. They looked small as well, switched the wheels and went to a Nitto 33" that did not need a lift.
  12. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

Appears as though overall length is about 5.66 32" tires or 182 inches long... The rear door looks to be more a traditional square than the sharply angled version of the Wrangler, in my opinion as well.
  13. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

3.25 tires apart, center of hub to center of hub. Wheelbase is 104 inches. Maybe up to 106 inches on the second side view. About the same as a Grand Cherokee, shorter than a Wrangler Unlimited by a foot.
  14. First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

Not sure if this has been posted, but the width of a standard license plate is 12 inches. The spare tire appears to be equal to 2.66 license plates wide, so it appears to be a 32" tire... Cannot wait for the 2 door, 2.7 twin turbo...
  15. Ford looking for Broncos for Woodward

I am concerned that Ford is waiting too long to introduce the new Bronco. Nissan has done the same with the Frontier and 370Z. The economy is slowing, fuel prices are stable however. As far as holding value, I have had 3 Wranglers over the past 15 years. No problems with them, and the best...
  16. As-yet-unseen Bronco prototype codenamed “Rock Monster”, 2.7 V6 confirmed AND MORE!-TFLCar

From what I understand, the V-6 or V-8 engine format will not fit inside the front fenders of the current Ranger platform. That is why they use an inline-5 diesel in New Zealand and the 2.3 i-4 in the US. Maybe the will use the new Ranger platform, or will there be a full size on the F-150 and...
  17. New full size Bronco spy pics / info???

NEW Small Bronco-Explorer/Ranger based.... NEW Large Bronco-F150 based... Just like 25 years ago. Or is it? I hope it is. Would love a full -size 2 door Bronco with a 5.0., just like I drove in the 80's. Ford has some holes to fill since they apparently no longer want to build cars besides the...
  18. New full size Bronco spy pics / info???

I drove a full size Bronco in the late 80's. Then a 2 door Explorer Sport V-6, 4 door Explorer V-8, a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and graduated to the Tahoes while having a TJ Jeep Rubicon. All were bought new by myself or a family member and not modified. Stock tires and suspension. The...
  19. New full size Bronco spy pics / info???

Exactly. The Bronco II and first Gen Explorers were unsafe. When someone runs 35"s on them and widens the track by doing so, they become somewhat more stable. They were a bad design, too narrow and under "tired". Worse than a Jeep.
  20. New full size Bronco spy pics / info???

Those Bronco II's were downright dangerous. So were the Explorer 4 doors of the mid 90's, complete with Firestone ATX-Wilderness tires. Mine had a 5.0, and was all over the road. Like a tall, narrow 4 door Mustang....
