what CGI trickery is this here? No broken tie rods? No catastrophic engine failure? No fuel pump failure at angle? This for sure is some Hollywood trickery here! ;-p
Nicely done, not sure I'd attempt that in somebody else's Bronco unless there's a raging wildfire behind me, certainly not in...
damn, hope it's an easy fix, or at least can be fixed good enough until you can get a replacement when needed.
Definitely a concern up there, I'll be at Fallen Leaf last week of July and plan to drive up trails and park and hike or maybe even camp, better stock up on pinesol! I won't have any...
@calgecko will do, thanks! I'm in Walnut Creek, so that's not too far away. Also will be up in Tahoe for a week in July, have to see what's up there that's not called Rubicon, LOL.
congratulations! I'd be up for beginner/intermediate trail adventures too later in summer, June/July are already packed with other travel. But I need to get mine off the road!
I had to take mine off when I got a rock poking through a tire, it's not fun, very heavy and just no way to get a good grip on it to put it back on. I will take it off for the first full wash/detailing/graphene coating, but then it'll stay on unless I have an other flat. There's no mud where I'm...
I'd enjoy my ride and not give $700 a second thought, honestly. After the crap other dealers throw at customers, this is really nothing. Give a mediocre review, list those points in it, be done with it and ride off into the sunset or where ever you want to point your new ride, don't let this...
mine was built 6/29, there are two reported failed the day before and two the day after. Am I worried? Not at all, I'm aware, but I'm sure they built more than 2 engines on those days, maybe they grabbed a good set of valves (or what ever, we don't really know what's going on with the failed...
quite an adventure, hope it's an easy fix and parts can be had quickly! Appreciate the photos and your good spirits about it, too many "sky is falling" people on here, LOL. Looking forward to the resolution and you back on the trails!
Great team work from the other two Broncos too, wish I'd know...
that would be great to see, I really don't want any view blocked, whole point of opening the roof is to NOT have stuff in the way, which is why the other bimini on the market are a no for me. And I'm afraid it's the same for this one, unless the solid part pretty much sits on top of the window...
@@BadBlueBronco we drove into a slot canyon that got more and more narrow, got passed by a group of very built for this Wranglers, eventually I decided it's time to go back because it got VERY narrow and I did not know how the trail goes on, would not want to back out of that. Got some great...
might have replied in this thread before, I still love my soft top, you could not give me a MIC top for free. So easy to open and close, I do it for a 1 mile drive to the store. I'd never fiddle with the panels for that.
And if I park in the sun I just flip it back closed to keep the MGV seats...
mine should arrive Sunday, if early enough in the day I might give it a try right then. I don't really plan to take the rear windows out all that often to fold the roof all the way down, really makes little difference in the drivers seat, except that I can't see a thing in the rear view mirror...
@@BadBlueBronco I've never been, pretty new to off roading and always thought the place is mostly for bikes etc. Seems to have some little things to play on, I just want to try out the different modes on something more than a gravel parking lot, LOL. Went off road in Anzo Borrego (spelling?)...
@@BadBlueBronco I guess it depends where you live in the Bay Area, I'm in Walnut Creek, Hollister is quite a drive, whereas Livermore is close by and I can even drive there using a little one lane road through the woods. So yes, if you're South Bay, Hollister is probably about the same.
I'm not a fan of that boxy look with sharp corners, doesn't fit the Bronco IMO, I'm gonna wait longer to see what else might show up. Looks too much like angry eyes jeeps and wannabe stealth fighter jets to me.
I'm also sometimes wondering if it would not be possible to mount the winch...
@@BadBlueBronco maybe because it's the only one that's actually in the Bay Area? I've never been but plan to check it out one of these days.
All the others are hours away
looks comfortable! I'll definitely look at those mats. Is there a thin extra one for leveling? I'm undecided if I want to build some kind of platform with a drawer or just go simple with extra padding.
@ladeda some good stuff on that list, Old Coast Road seems inviting once the summer heat settles in. Anything inland will be a furnace and has to wait until autumn I think.
Rubicon is a distant maybe someday years from now, I'm way too new to this - as is my Bronco :-D
