I looked at their site and did not readily see anything for the fix so I left them a message on the "ask a question" on one of the pull down.
My sliders are connected so I can remove them from my battery power very easily. I just never though about it before a long trip. Maybe their...
@Calm horse you are very correct about the sliders. To make it worse, I read a post a couple weeks (months?) ago about this drain and completely forgot about!!!
This could be the issue that ended up killing my battery.
Good news is, I am now smarter than I was yesterday!!!!
I admit I'm shooting in the dark!!
I do not know that high voltage is a bad thing. It is just that I noticed mine always ran high and never went down even after long charging times. Then after getting a good battery, my voltage gauge shows charging at a much lower voltage.
November 21 Bronco went into service, 2.7 engine
Like many on this site I have been receiving Ford Pass notices of Battery Saver Mode etc. This has been going on for many months and I never had trouble starting. Some months ago I noticed that my dashboard Voltage reading was always up in the...
Does flat towing cause anything in transmission to turn?
We have 3x as many miles from flat towing than our Bronco shows. Flat towing miles do not show on the dash board odometer.
At minimum, fairly often look at the floor/surface that you park on regularly. If there is a wet spot that does not evaporate, it is in need of a deeper look.
that is a great item....!! thanks for posting it.
The Ford jack is much like most vehicle supplied jack...thin stamped. BUT it is space saving!!!
I have used them and had them bend but never had one break with the vehicle was on it.
Ford is trying to expand it's on-site service. Some dealers have a limited range of services while others are equipped to do much more. I'd check if they can come to you.
@redone17 the Amazon link shows (highlights) the washers marked as Porsche Volvo M18.
Are these the correct ones?
Found this post by a search and really appreciate the parts numbers and torque!!!!
Most of the steps shown above are fine for a taller person or one without any mobility issues. For a shorter person or one with knee issues they are still a long way up there. Some steps are just 1-2 inches lower than no step. That may work for you.
We went with Rock Slide Engineering...
I believe the Aux switches are hot only when the ignition is on.. We ran a separate switch due to that. When we need a rear dome light we seldom have the ignition switched on.
I appreciate to tip and offer to investigate. With a tech coming I will wait for them to take a look.
They are doing a couple other items also.
If it is known that the Ford Pass system has a physical SIM card, that would help to track down that problem pretty quick.
I recently found an AT&T Sim Card in my driver side floor board. I was puzzled about it and had no clue about where it came from. Several days ago I remembered we have not received any "Your Bronco is shutting down to save the Battery" type of messages. I looked at my Ford Pass and found we...
I would not drive 70 mph in 4H or regularly use it where we need to change direction a lot. Turning with front engaged won't break parts but I think it does create extra wear. 4H when you need it then switch back to 2H.
The main benefit of 4A is that you don't have to think about it.
