I wanted a quality undercoating gun and the wool wax had great reviews and I was very pleased with the results I know it works better than the spray cans and get more product for the money there are other guns out there that are cheaper and more expensive but overall this worked great for me
I think it was around 180$ for everything but you could probably do your truck 3 times. Also the wool wax gun came with 1 quart of wool wax spray bought everything on Amazon for me the cost made more since because I will keep my bronco for a long time and will reapply this product
I bought a gallon of surface shield and sprayed it through a wool wax gun works great and used the 360 nozzle throughout the frame and all the body panels
i did it putting the door on no i did not damage the door was just asking if someone makes something to go there to protect the pillar and to keep from beating the door edge up

on the flares I used a red pad and 600 grit and sanded the crap out of them cleaned with wax and grease remover used a ppg scuffing sponge then used a ppg adhesive wipe then applied bulldog adhesion promoter then I sealed them with about 4 coats of heavy sealer I think the sealer may have better...
I blocked the entire surface with 150grit then primed then 150 blocked and 220 blocked then primed again then blocked with 320 and da with 400 and yes I blocked the most of the surface flat I used ppg 3055 primer
