Thanks, both were taken off. Jeremy mentioned on the phone that there had been a period recently where they were having to mail the checks so he was happy to see both of mine listed.
I just got back from WV after picking up my Bronco this weekend! I can’t say enough about how good Stephens was to deal with. Incredibly nice folks and they run a smooth operation. The easiest vehicle purchase I’ve ever made - probably took about 15 minutes! Cheers to Joe and Jeremy for making...
My 4 door badlands made it to Stephens and if all goes according to plan I’ll be picking it up this weekend. Jeremy has been super helpful and great to work with. Ford even sent me the assembly line pic today, which was a nice surprise.
So I should clarify that I don’t actually know that it doesn’t have the clip - just that it is definitely under the stop sale. I’ve seen a post here (https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/seat-belt-recall-bureaucracy-holding-up-bronco-delivery.77156/page-4#post-1984862) where the clip was...
Well, I finally got the call that my Bronco arrived at Stephens. Unfortunately Ford did -not- put the little plastic seatbelt clip on it before shipping it out. Built April 15, sat until the end of June 30 while they fixed whatever was originally wrong with it, and now it gets to sit until…sometime.
Mine, which is under recall for the seatbelt 🤦‍♂️ was theoretically going to ship last week. It hasn’t, for better or worse. I’m back to the old “pending update” status when I call.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that means they’re going to find a clip for the seatbelt before shipping… only 3...
I spent some time hitting up various numbers at Ford about this yesterday, trying to find out if they’d ship a vehicle that’s under active recall to a dealer for the dealer to handle. I couldn’t get a definitive answer from anyone but I’m definitely going to keep trying. I messaged John and he...
I wonder how many of us are in that group of builds that are caught up in the recall but have already been held at the plant for something else. And what that means in terms of how fast this get fixed.
I went into production 4/14, finally flipped to built on 6/30. No shipping info yet. Seems...
Well, this is good news. I’d emailed a bunch of Ford execs a couple weeks ago to ask about the certificates. Hadn’t heard anything, sort of resigned myself to wait and see.
Out of the blue today I got a phone call from someone at Ford. She was responding to my email, was very nice, and while...
Oh, for sure. I’ve been following that too. I sort of had the feeling that maybe these were built with the bad welds and are waiting on new ones. Doesn’t necessarily explain why Broncos from Feb are still waiting… Or how so many are getting shipped that apparently avoided the bad parts...
Well, we’re not the only people in purgatory. The 5/8 build week thread seems to have a lot of people like us. A couple of them have been told something about an axle being installed, which fits my theory, but they’re also getting this from the 800 number which means it’s highly inaccurate.
Where are you hearing this? That’s been my suspicion because it seemed to coincide with several plug weld failures that were getting warrantied. According to some of those people there was a bad batch of axles from Dana. It would make sense but I haven’t seen anything addressing that in...
There is a small group of us at Stephens that were built in April but the tracker still shows “in production” - and a few from February. Many Broncos were built and shipped before and after our build week. Ford emailed the dealer about 2 weeks ago to say our Broncos wouldn’t be shipped until...
