To my untrained eye, the common denominator is that Broncos made with clean black paint don't crack. The ones Ford built with scraped/rusty and dirty black paint tend to crack. I need to look under mine.

Both are great products. But, they are not really a good comparison. The Rock Slide makes it really easy for OFG people to get in and out of our Bronco and give rock slide protection. . Metal Tech is a great slider and a good step if you can reach it. PS: OFG is old fat guy.

For snow drifts like we had today....deep snow and enough wind that it takes just minutes to fill in where another vehicle has just driven, 4x4 with rear lockers engaged. Get to where the wind has scoured the snow down to bare gravel/dirt, it is back to 4A. Edit to say our roads are as slick...
