All depends on your motor I had this happen on my old 2.7 and they had to run though a pen out and ultimately replace the whole dam assembly for the master cylinder
The issue is not so much the surface it's a finicky tool. What i learned is you can't slap the wheel full lock its about almost full turn and very modulated gas input. If you give it the beans it will not work but if you don't give it enough it also won't work
I agree was looking at it and yes it's thin but at the same time it looks like the plastic injection points all throughout the exo help make it more rigid possibly?
