Decided to call customer support. Was told the production takes 8-12 weeks...if I didn't spend way too much time on this website and therefore know better I would be pretty upset right now.
Gotcha! I have an 0629 blend date and have been impatiently waiting for my "built" email lol. The JCT is the freight tracker but not sure if it applies to all shipments by rail or not. https://www.palsapp.com/
I don't think that is the case for us. Using ford's ETIS website and my VIN lookup it certainly looks like anything/everything with a chip is present and was checked on 6/30 for mine. But I could be totally off on this.
I'm leaning more towards them trying to put vehicles with close destinations...
6/30 blend date, still "in production", window sticker updated the bottom date to 7/8/21 today but no movement on the trackers. May need a new refresh key for my keyboard after today.
@jwrightpdx received an email from Ford the other day that production date had been moved to the week of 6/28 (originally 7/26) which matches the blend date on the window sticker of 0629. I've been refreshing the trackers all day. I think I'm more excited than my dad is. My plan has been to wait...
@jwrightpdx I had emailed Damerow before changing dealers and got absolutely no response. I hope everyone that goes through them has a better experience. It looks like my dad may get his Bronco (my day 1 reservation) before any dealers get a demo unit.
My opinion is that the people answering the phones really don't have a clue. Depending on who you talk to someone may put in a little effort to try. Window stickers seem to be populating 7-10 days before builds dates based on other member's build progressions. My window sticker became available...
Several people on the forum are under the impression that the last 4 digits of the number above blend may represent the actual scheduled build date. Mine are 0629 which would be 6/29 build date.
@BroncoPVC I'm holding out for mansquatch but traded reservations with my dad and he got a build date of July 26th. Day 1 reservation and was told it was the #2 allocation at the dealership. 2 door base, 2.7, sasquatch
1) Ranger no removable top
2) Ranger no manual transmission
3) Bronco truck would likely tow more than regular bronco (longer wheelbase potentially and if they're making a truck model will likely give up a little offroad prowess for truck duties)
4) adding a truck bed to a bronco gives it a lot...
Continuing to make things more complicated. Really didn't want a screen at all in the first place. Ford can't even get hard tops figured out so let's throw in some complicated shit. Automatic updates surely won't be a nuisance and a computer update has never failed and left the user unable to...
