lol, you really believe that? They are going to start putting those orders for December and earlyJanuary in the system by mid to late November. Suppliers need to know what to supply to send for builds. For me, I’m getting my order set by late October.
The problem I see here is Ford pushing their new "order it your way" sales pitch. If I order it my way and it arrives and the dealer then adds an up charge; Ford will not be looking good here. The lid on the can of worms is just starting to open.
My brother put a reservation in early May. The dealer told him not to expect to hear anything until early next year at the earliest and possibly midyear 2022. He just got an email with his vin and it's being built the end of July. He's getting a 4 door Big Bend, 2.3 with soft top.
