  3. Best 35s? I'm a girl that drives gravel/pavement 50/50 lol

I am 55-60% Pavement and a solid 40-45% Gravel, Ruts, Mud, Sand, Snow and Slush. I have Falken Wildpeak AT3W's. Non-SAS so narrower 285-70-17's that we run at 39lbs HWY and 20-28lbs Gravel/Sand/Snow. These are used for work and love them. Also, they look as if they will last almost 70k Miles...

  5. Anyone holding out long term to be a future classic, or in the Bronco for the long haul?

Revisiting this thread as we pass thru 107k Miles on the odometer Not holding out that it will be a classic. Definitely in it for the utility and pure joy of driving it. 60% HWY and Legit 40% off road for work sites in sandy, mountain and muddy road areas. We got the BD as we were planning to...
  6. Long term reliability > 100k miles yet, anyone?

MY 2021 - Ordered July 2020 - Built in Nov 2021 Update: Just crossed 107,000 Miles Same brakes and rotors. Service shop insists they still indicate wear as very good. RTR Tech 6 with Falken AT3-W 285-70-17 3 Windshields. Added Deflector after 3rd. Seems to have helped. 60% HWY - legitimately...
  7. lowest PSI on road?

We spend quite a bit of time in soft sand. You will want to invest in a compressor for sure and be at least in the 20's PSI. We work at sandy sites. Lighter drier western sand (Top ) we run at 20-23. Denser wetter mid western sand roads we run at 26-29. Get a compressor though. That makes all of...
  8. lowest PSI on road?

Agree with bassist. For work, we regularly run fire roads and rutted mountain roads at road PSI 37-38 PSI. If you will be encountering larger rock outcropping and muddy/snowy fire roads, we would drop to 22 (Sandy) -28 (Snow Slush) PSI. As others have commented, a compressor is a notably worthy...

  13. Need advice on which Bronco to buy

We were in 2020 and 2021, not 2022. I was in the black hole of exploding 2.7 valves and wanted a vehicle for functional off roading. I Was not looking for a tow or time trial machine so deleted the 2.7. Tow packages were a big delay so deleted that. In 2021, SAS was poison, knew how modest our...
  14. Need advice on which Bronco to buy

Have a 2.3 and love it. Got it because, as you likely know better than most, the 2.7's during the time we were on order were literally eating their own valve stems during the early days of the 6G roll out. Wasn't about the MPG as much as being acutely aware that our 6G on order was prone to...
  15. Need advice on which Bronco to buy

You are spot on here. We have a BD for most of the reasons you listed and are thrilled. It is "old" (2021) and the suspension is jarring.

Pleased to share these of our 6G at work in our Colorado "Remote" offices of their respective days. We don't crawl unless we have to get over one of...
