This guide posted here by @GToddC5 is good reference, engine will be revving ~200rpm lower with 4.46 in 35. Ideally, better fuel eco but I have no firsthand experience.
Thereās no doubt 4.7 will work better with 35 or even 37 for mechanical advantage. But as I stated in the OP that this will be daily and fwy cruiser 70-80%, I prefer fuel eco over power/accel.
The reason your brother is recommending you the warranty is so he doesnāt have to work on your car problems, he wants his weekends to himself having a cold one and watching football. ?
With the latest round of info released, 4.7 is confirmed not a no cost option.
In this scenario:
-2.7 with Auto-10spd
-35 someday, but 33 works for now
-daily, mostly highway driving, >75%
-fuel eco/range > power/accel
-most likely no rock crawling, definitely some off roading
Which ratio...
Exactly, there were some many errors in B&P that it shouldnāt be released to the public. I donāt understand how a supposedly āworld classā company fumbled the ball like that out of the gate. But the wording was there with the intent that was not a āfreeā upgrade feature.
It was never a free feature. Standard on WT and FE, as these two models come with the SAS package standard. Itās available on all other models as upgrade (part) of the SAS package.
