Extremely common problem on a wide range of vehicles in the Salt belt. Software has improved to detect the problem, but unfortunately wheel speed sensors gotta be mounted where moisture is always going to be
Sure did! And i still have those wheels! But not that Bronco or those tires. When I traded the white BL in on the RR, I put the original wheels/tires I got with it back on, along w/removing most offroad goodies the dealer didn't care about. I sold the super swampers and got the wheels re...
I have them on a set w/ 40s, a set w/ 37s, and on whatever the stock ranger raptor tire size is. I Have had zero leaks. I check torque at oil change intervals...after a few it reaches a point where the torque holds...just takes time to crush the bead fully. I air down to single digits on...
Been good! Just been on other projects...Bronco not seeing as much action right now. Been reading the forum here and there, but haven't really had anything interesting to add
I have the 74Weld portals on mine, and their rack. I have wheeled jeeps and full size Broncs for years. Nothing compares to the 6G on portals in my experience. The ground clearance is INSANE. The road manners are practically unaffected. If not for the terrible fuel mileage, and the big leap...
Works great in ambient temps above 28-30F. In "arctic" temps it's gotta be turned off, or used less. The juice can get into the electronics of the throttle body and wreck it at those temps. Rest of the year it's no problem at all. I wrecked 2 throttle bodies trying to figure that out...
Can have many benefits I agree. I know another fella who was badly injured in a motorcycle accident. He was knocked unconscious and has no recollection of what happened. His Gopro camera was rolling tho, and captured the entire thing, which the cops were able to use to track down the person...
I was told by a customer that immigrated from there years ago that for years the economy over there was so bad that police didn't always get paid regularly or at all...Russian cops started supplementing their income by pulling over motorists who appeared to have money and "shaking them...
I reached out today. I have not updated the Procal, and still have full functionality, so I basically worded it as "how do I avoid losing functionality?". Hope that helps!
I guess I don't get the whole oil leak=loose bolts theory. Cars have leaked oil since they stopped using horses, and that never caused them to disassemble themselves. A tight bolt is a tight bolt whether it's oily or dry. I mean there are bolts inside the diff and they stay tight somehow...
when you enlarge the hole for the helicoil it will make it round again. Not saying it doesn't suck to have to do it, but if you are careful and use them right, helicoils are much stronger than the original thread. I would pull that busted bolt out of there 1st and see
