Go back a page to bloominguez post and then try putting some dealer glasses on. It goes both ways. For the record, every dealer who was asked if they would honor x plan said they would honor it if Ford allows it.
I'm not the best of phone typer
probably the best breakdown as of yet. I applaud you sir. Hopefully a lot of people can take something worth while from that because you clearly get it. There is a bigger picture here than everyone's individual Bronco order.
yeah but i hate that steals trades motto. ive found its either less off the vehicle and more on your trade or the other way around. keep in mind that the dealer is taking all the risk on trades. how many times have people tried to hide problems on their car to get a better trade value lol. thats...
We don't do anything sales tax. That's between you and the dmv here lol. Our market sells stupid cheap. Were about volume not raking people over the coals. Yeah we try and make a profit, but we aren't bending anyone over with a deal. If we're making a profit we will do it. We leave zero room to...
Thank you for correcting. Yes, customers always take the rebates off the car at time of purchase. Less to finance or cut a check for at that time. Better for sales tax
And there it is. Response like that is why nothing will ever change. You could be offered a killer deal, and still demand more because those "stealerships" are making a profit. how sad are the markets your in? I mean seriously lol. We NEVER sell cars at MSRP in our market.... but its just not...
Why does a dealer have to price match Granger to make a difference? I feel bad for the markets some of you are in, because in our market, pricing does not favor the dealerships, yet were still treated like were stealing from people when they aren't even paying close to sticker less rebates.
Probably should have left out the mca membership part of people paying just 25$ to get a discount and requiring Ford to spend a ton of money reimbursing dealers for x plan.
Only in the fact that there was some statements that there would be x plan, but those statements came before any pricing has even been finalized. again, dealers still don't have any official pricing beyond just the base trim pricing
MCA didnt help, but i dont think Ford honestly planned on a corporate level to do x plan. But the abuse of programs by all means i believe played a solid part in it. to those who are saying that its not an abuse, clearly dont understand how the programs work, not that its their fault.
ive said from the start with our clients, that i didnt forsee Ford offering plans at all, but that if they did finalize it allowed, we would honor them. It was wayyy to early on to make those concrete statements. Dealers dont even have official order and pricing guides yet, so no way i was going...
I held off on saying for sure there was going to be any plan pricing because i just flat doubted there would be plan pricing as nothing had been announced of final pricing. we were way too far out for that.
Right! Dealers love x-plan lol.
We can agree to disagree. Here is the takeaway. People have been asking their dealers from the start whether or not they would honor x plan.(im a dealer and we were more than happy to honor x plan. no dealer hates x plan and all are happy to honor it.) the answers...
