My wife is actually, literally, a goddess.
Also itās really just that one room. Doesnāt even bleed Into the kitchen. My sense of smell is trashed, but hers is very good and she hasnāt complained at all.
I have 5 of these stacked in my dining room waiting for install - heard good things, curious to see how the noise compares to the stock BD tires. They look properly chonky, thatās for sure.
Awesome video and ride. I grew up in Grass Valley and did some dumb solo stuff in the snow. Hoping to be out there with the Bronco in March, but not sure yet.
I looked far and wide but couldnāt find anything close enough to stock styling for my taste. I think @Discount Tire has a couple options that are steelies with the proper offset for the width youāre looking for.
I went with a set of Kenda 35x10.5 to fit the stock steelies while still adding...
Might suggest they check tire pressure. Mine was 42psi when I picked it up, dropped to 35 (32 now that itās cold and Iām lazy) and the ride smoothed out quite a bit.
But, also, itās a true 4x4, not a luxury SUV. I came from a Touareg which was far less capable but rode like a dream. Could need...
Man Iām glad yāall get to do that. My dadās the one who got me into cars, but we grew apart for other reasons (10 years of heavy opiate use changes people). He passed almost a year ago.
I just stacked a set of 35s in my living room and I canāt help but think the man I grew up with would love...
Heat loss wasnāt an issue for me in <10 degree weather.
talked to someone on IG who had gone through the blowing snow on I-80 in Wyoming and said theyād had no problems. Iāll find out with the crosswinds up there in March š
some of them like 18132 and 5415 were additional ones he mentioned - it may have been the specific vin I provided, but he couldnāt even pull those parts or the equivalent for the front assembly, only the rear. Or maybe vice versa.
Finally got down to my local Ford store and they couldnāt even pull a few of the part numbers -gives me a bit of concern about going this route.
For the rears, they also pulled some other stuff - bushings and isolators. I need to dig out my quote but Iām concerned those shock absorber...
I received my hammock yesterday, and while I havenāt had a chance to string it up due to work it came well packed, compact, and was very prompt.
Hoping to get it up in my 4 door this weekend, will post pics. Thanks @Aloha !!
Out of curiosity, is your OBX a 2.7 or 2.3?
Iāve been digging through Fordās published front/total weights for different trims. It looks like a WT with the 2.7 but without full steel bash plates is about as close as Iāll get to a spring rate match on my 2.3 BD.
I missed jumping on that set because I was on my honeymoonā¦this settles it, Iām ordering a set of these instead of the Ford Performance lift. Can you share the part number of those portal bolts when you get it?
One last question - think shock mount skids like these will still clear those rear...
@Jwall i have a big cross country trip planned for March/April, canāt wait!
Butā¦really, no leaks with the soft top in a touchless wash? I want an easy way to get salt off without having to actually wash her by hand.
