Thanks! I'm not too worried about it. I tried to show that they have little braces you add on to the fender that the hardware screws into so it's not just screwing onto the Bronco but it's a little difficult to see if you're not actively looking for it. The third screw being the pre-existing...
Haha I was a hair too slow with my edit. This picture might ease your mind a bit:
The flares go back on after the flap has been installed. I donāt think youād have an issue.
Thatās the stock BD no SAS.
*Edit just reread lol yeah I donāt know how theyād work with Sasquatch flares but the way theyāre installed might help with any potential issues? I look forward to seeing the answer to that
These are fantastic. I only wanted the front flaps but bought this set because of the promo and I didnāt want to wait another day to have these! I may install the rear flaps at a later date, but for right now Iām loving this addition to my Bronco.
Mine has been randomly shutting off recently too. Typically I can fix it with a screen reset (hold down power button and forward skip until the screen power cycles)
And here is my reaction to their new metal ones!
Well this was a slam dunk.
Pens wonāt fall out the bottom
I had the right bit!
Never felt great about storing water bottles in this pocket. Felt like I was stretching it past the point of smart.
Problem solved.
I was concerned...
Thereās a MO Bronco group on here (that I havenāt fully figured out the best way to use but it exists!) and a pretty great STL Bronco group on Facebook that just had a meetup last week and will be doing more in the future if youāre in the area. Welcome!
My NH Off Roadeo Vacation was pretty great in spite of what seemed like potentially pandemic related staffing challenges in non Off Roadeo related places. Hereās my experience if itās helpful to you!
I recently did a road trip in my stock BD and after driving across multiple states, I still felt myself smiling and thinking it felt strangely like getting home climbing back in after a brief rest stop. Point being: if it were uncomfortable I doubt Iād have felt that way after spending hours on...
Ford does not give away these door bags. They are an accessory that much be purchased separately from the vehicle. They are not trim level specific, only door size specific (2 door or 4 door since the doors are different sizes)
Since this thread resurfaced today Iāll add: hey @Mabett, feel free to use this as a template for a new product and build the second piece for the other side! (Just maybe send me one as compensation yeah?) š
Itās holding up great and allowed me to sleep in the back of my 2 door! (Head to tailgate and feet propped up on the center console between the front seats). I havenāt made the other side yet since I havenāt needed to and really like how my coolers and such stack in that recessed space. Honestly...
There is a 2 door version and a 4 door version. All Bronco doors fit inside their correct sized bags regardless of trim level (Door size and shape is the same from Base through Wildtrak).
It would be a good idea to make sure whatever bag you design fits with your door mesh pocket replacement...
This would be big for everyone. Taking the doors off with the door bags is said to be much better due to the padding from the bags protecting the door from drops during removal as well as providing a better handle for carrying the door the moment you lift it off the Bronco. Iād door bags from...
