  1. Off Roading for Dummies?

100% agree. I had the same experience but was even luckier in that there were only two broncos in my off-rodeo group. Can’t recommend it enough. I went to Moab but my (Moab-based) instructor said her favorite location was the one in Texas.
  2. CarPlay Degradation After Latest Update?

Just to follow up, I misread the thread earlier. I haven’t checked to see if there was a Ford update at the same time but I’m almost positive my issues were due to an iOS update.
  3. CarPlay Degradation After Latest Update?

Mine wouldn’t reconnect to CarPlay after turning off the Bronco. It would recognize my phone but couldn’t find CarPlay until I restarted the phone. It started working correctly again after deleting the bronco from my phone and my phone from the bronco, then setting up CarPlay again. Takes a few...
  4. Bilstein 6100 / 6112 Ride Heights

That’s really weird. I’d look the instructions up online and see if they’ve got different measurements in the updated instructions. That screenshot definitely has the wrong numbers for the 6100s and they’ve corrected it in revised documents.
  5. 2023 stock Wildtrak does Sedona flawlessly

Van Deren cabin is a great little drive. Super fun trail that didn’t get a lot of traffic, at least when we were there. Definitely a highlight of our Sedona trip. Glad you found it! We did Schnebly too and it was…fatiguing, I guess. Definitely rough but not technical or difficult. Busy too but...
  6. Broncos Of The Carolinas

@V1Rotate can confirm. Made my way down to the bridge and back yesterday, decent number of people out, in good shape and lots of fun. The bridge gate is open so it’s possible to keep going. I ran into a guy on his way back from an overnight at the state line.
  7. Broncos Of The Carolinas

@V1Rotate have you been out on Chestnut recently? I was thinking about taking the bronco for its first dirt adventure there sometime this next week.
  8. ICON High Clearance Crash Bar Kit

I was not. I talked with a guy at Icon about it, he seemed to forget about me for a couple weeks, and then got back to me with “hit it harder with a dead blow hammer instead of a rubber mallet” which doesn’t seem like the best answer... In the meantime I’d already returned them. I also ordered...
  9. Bilstein 6100 / 6112 Ride Heights

I had replied to another thread somewhere and can confirm that Bilstein updated their instructions sometime after my 6100s were packaged up. The lift heights listed online appear to be correct. Anyone considering them or wanting an accurate lift height should definitely pull the new pdfs. I...

Full set of 5 stock Badlands wheels and KO2 tires. Four Bronco caps included, no lugs or TPMS sensors. Four of the tires have 485 miles, the spare has zero. All miles are on-road. Local pickup only (Raleigh NC area). Looking for $1200.

  12. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Have you been talking to Tarita Johnson? I don’t think she actually did anything to help move things along but she was fairly transparent and consistent with following up. Sorry to hear you’re going through this, though. Rest assured that this is far and away the toughest part once it gets to...
  13. ICON High Clearance Crash Bar Kit

Anyone install these? I bought them, fronts went in great, rears did NOT fit. I pounded on them with a rubber mallet and got nowhere. At first I thought maybe the paint was just too thick but it actually looks like there’s a little lip on the ends where the metal is bent into shape, so it isn’t...
  14. Controversial subject here.....mud flaps.

Good to hear. I know they’re just mudflaps but for what it’s worth, every time I’ve dealt with IAG they’ve been great to work with. Excellent service.
  15. Controversial subject here.....mud flaps.

IAG I-Line, like a few others here. I believe they’re the same as the Mabetts, just a different stamp. A lot of IAG stuff is made in the US, the I-Line stuff is not. They look good, almost factory, they’re no drill, install is fairly easy once you figure out the instructions. Here’s a pic with...
  16. Bilstein 6100 / 6112 Ride Heights

Thanks, as one of a handful of guys running these, I’ve been paying attention to your posts about them. Your Bronco looks great. Did you use new UCAs since you went all the way up?
  17. Bilstein 6100 / 6112 Ride Heights

I can’t give an exact number because the tech didn’t write it down but it was apparently very close to Bilstein’s revised numbers. I went to the 3rd clip setting to add 1.3”, which in theory should put me a little under an inch above Sasquatch. If anyone has any specific measurements they’d...
  18. Bilstein 6100 / 6112 Ride Heights

Just to resurrect this a bit… I did notice that the printed instructions that came with my 6100s list different lift heights than the instructions currently online. I spoke to Bilstein and the rep confirmed I should go with the latest revision date (online instructions). The heights are pretty...
  19. Broncos Of The Carolinas

Thanks, I did read good things about FlashCal this morning and may go that route when they update for 23 MY.
  20. Broncos Of The Carolinas

Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the Triangle area that will do speedometer calibration? I’m going from 33s to 35s and the two dealer service departments I’ve called have both said they will not do it. I know it’s possible in Forscan but I personally don’t really want to mess...
