The only reason I would imagine is your build has more chips/components. Mines a BD, softy, 3.2, non-sas, standard pkg. They had parts for mine laying around, slapped a few lug nuts on there and a sticker and away it went.
Apparently they do have a rail heading out this way. I'm blend date 3/11, tracker said shipped by rail I believe over that weekend or the following Monday. Chatted with Ford AI cyborg this morning and they said my train is currently in East St Louis.

My modules popped last night but still have a 3 digit tear tag, and tracker says shipped. I'm starting to think that tear tag doesn't mean much of anything.
Fair enough and I like the idea. I'm not sure that a VR experience would completely simulate the full tactile experience though. For instance, when I test drove the Bronco, the first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the wonky window shake thing that others have reported. Small things...
That anecdote about working in the jail and preferring that over the dealership is wild, and very telling. I think my comments were more directed at the dealership model as a whole. That said, while I'm sure there are some great people selling cars, I've had more than one sales person be a...
It's not just stereotypical. My experience with dealerships has been terrible, and I'm clearly not alone. The dealership model is antiquated, and I believe will be replaced.
