Update! Waiting to hear back from local dealer. Heated seats aren't working on the new module and it may need to be programed. Will let everyone know what I find out tomorrow.

Might be because you have the 12 inch? I am always in an app and it doesn't show the interior temp on the screen when I'm in waze or pandora which are the two I use the most.

Because I'm almost always in android auto, I could never see the temp on the screen which also drove me weirdly nuts.

If you plug the 21 part into a 22 you get working dial displays with no coding changes needed.

Correct, it is the part for a 2021 because they had the display dials. Order at your own risk but I can say with certainty it worked for me on my 22.

Cool, so the part I listed just replaces the bottom hvac knobs. You keep the top radio knobs. It's two different modules. 👍

Good to know. I found 4 variants listed in the parts catalog. None of them mention camera. Is that part of the upper console (radio buttons) or lower buttons (hvac buttons)?

See above. I think mid and high are the same. Lux needs the -D variant for the steering wheel button. 😉

And success! Took less than an hour. Video above is good to get the console out. Then three clips and some care to remove from the car fully. After that, there are 5 6mm bolts holding the unit into the housing and a clip at the top. Panel popper to release the clip. Reverse to install...

To replace the HVAC controls module, we need to remove the lower portion of the dash. I found this video to be a good explained of what needs to happen. Skip the whole upper section and jump to about 2:40...

Instead of M2DZ-19980-C, you need M2DZ-19980-D for the heated steering wheel.

The -D variant is for lux package with heated steering wheel. The -C variant is for mid and high package without heated steering wheel. Just got mine in the mail today. 😀

**Update - Module works perfectly but did have to load the as built values from the old module. Displays the temp on the dials just fine with all the old values loaded. SUCCESSSSSS!!!! xD I have a 2022 Badlands with mid package. Was reading through some other threads and wanted to try adding...
