Like a lot of you I go back and forth between models on the Build and Price.
From my latest calculations a Badlands is the way for me to go:
If I build a Black Diamond with mid package, 2.7 auto I come out around $48000.
My Badlands build is $54,400 with 2.7, auto, 33's, and the high package...
I am looking for info on off road ride quality with the different models of Broncos on slow speed rocks.
Also compare the Bronco to the Ranger or Ranger Tremor.
I currently have a Polaris XP Turbo with 2.5" Fox Podiums that rides great on the rocks as well as a Polaris General with 2.5" Fox...
Ford says 70% of new Bronco orders have never owned a Ford before.

Any one used this on their offroad vehicle? Magnetic material that sticks to the sides of your ride and protects it from Colorado pinstriping

The stock Badland tire is the BFG AT T/A KO2. They sell for $1250 for five.
The upgrade Wrangler Territory MT 33" sell for $1375 for five.
Ford wants $695 upgrade for the 33" MT's....... Why? There is $125 difference between them.
Anybody besides me would like to see the stabar disconnect on at least the BD and Wildtrak models? At least offer it as an option.....
Chance of that coming for 2022?
Anybody got a pix of what the wheel spotting camera view looks like? I have seen how the winch blocks the front view but Ford claims to have wheel spotting cameras. I didn't see that option yesterday on a BL- or I didn't know where to look.
4 door, 2.3, 33"s and vinyl top.
Vinyl top is hot. Get your head near it and it feels like standing up in a pop up canopy with your head near it's top. If you got a bald head you might get a burn. LOL. Vinyl top is noisy. When a semi comes up next to you it sounds like it's coming into the...
I got to drive a BL on 33"'s yesterday and it drove great. Took it down a gravel road and played with "rock crawl" mode a bit.
So the 35's are about 1" taller than the 33"s so you gain 1/2" of ground clearance.. If I jump up to 35"s what can I expect? more steering kickback on rocks? harder to...
Building both in build and price (2.7, 10 speed, soft top, SAS) the BD comes in at $6000 more.
If I remove the $1495 mid package I am still $4500 higher.
BD gives me rock crawl goat mode and vinyl seats, tow hooks and rock rails.
I plan on taking it off road and on the rocks but is rock crawl...
Does the Bronco use EPAS like the F150 or electric over hydraulic like the SD?
Second for those that have driven them- how's the steering effort? easy to steer?
How about in 4x4? still easy to steer?
My trucks feel not much different in 2wd vs 4wd but in my SxS putting it in 4wd takes way more...

Tested: 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition Goes Big, Sticks the Landing
The triumphant return of the Ford Bronco has the country agape. The awe is well deserved.

How do you think a 2 door base with the 2.3L, 10 speed and SAS package will do?
Is the 2.3 enough power?
I would throw a 10k winch and skid plates on it.
Mainly rocky trails in Colorado...............
When I build a Badlands it charges me $1595 for the 10 speed. When I build a Black Diamond it doesn't charge me.
Both builds have the 2.7 which says it includes the 10 speed.
Is this an error in build and price?
Thanks
