  1. Dealer; Ford will not allow order change.

It takes very little work to edit a build. It takes more work for me to explain to a customer that I can’t edit their build for X Y or Z reason than it does to just edit the build. Takes all of 2 minutes. It is possible that they just can’t be fussed, but to go as far as to back the build status...
  2. Dealer; Ford will not allow order change.

While the general rule for making adjustments is "you can make changes until you're scheduled" is usually true, I have had the rare experience where a build is not *quite* yet scheduled but Ford still locks the order, I think it's called being previewed. Usually the order schedules shortly after...
  3. Standard bumper question

    Yes, it drills in.
  4. How are folks getting X-Plan from their dealers?

You ask. It's optional for the dealer to participate, but if you're buying your order at MSRP they probably won't give you a problem.
  5. How are folks getting X-Plan from their dealers?

He must be a retired Ford employee or have a family member who is.
  6. Is Mid Package a must for a daily driver?

For me, yeah. I mean, it's a $40K vehicle. Mid package gives you enough to make it feel like a $40K vehicle. Heated seats and remote start being the big things. I use them every day and I'd be sad to not have them.
  7. So your Bronco arrives at the dealership, now what??

You need the dealership's cooperation more than they need yours, to be frank. They're more than happy for you to decline the purchase so they can go and mark it up for the general public to buy. You should expect good service while you're there but from a dealer's perspective, there's only so...
  8. Poll Question: How well do stubby antennas work on your Bronco?

Not really sure how scientific I can be, but I never lost reception with the stock one it came with and I have not lost reception with a stubby one either. So take that as you will.
  9. Bronco hit with a golf ball! 😵

It's definitely a good idea to have a $0 deductible if you live next to a golf course. Or ever. $0 deductibles are usually only a few dollars more a month and especially on the Bronco with the near vertical windshield, it's going to get chipped at some point.
  10. What would I be losing by switching from 2.7 to 2.3 motor?

You'd be losing power and resale value. Personally I think the 2.3L is plenty of power, but there's no denying that the 2.7L has more.
  11. $500 deposit to order?!

Depends on the dealer. It's their policy. It's basically in place to make you feel like you've committed in some way to this vehicle and don't go shopping around while you get antsy about it taking a while. For a Bronco, it's not a big deal because a dealership is more than happy to not sell it...
  12. Video: Snow intrusion into my soft top Bronco interior during blizzard ā„ļøšŸ’Ø

I'm not that surprised that this can happen. I guess it's a good idea for people who live in areas where this type of weather happens a couple times a year to invest in a car cover for these storms, or just a tarp that you can weigh down or something.
  13. Maui Hawaii Dealer Price Gouging for Custom Bronco Orders

I’m not saying government enforced prices is the answer at all. It’s just sad that the market you live in based on geography can play so much into how much you sometimes have to pay for something.
  14. Maui Hawaii Dealer Price Gouging for Custom Bronco Orders

Hawaii dealers are notorious for it, because your options are so limited. It's cost prohibitive and annoying to ship something from the mainland or probably even from island to island. So they don't need to be as consumer friendly. I think Maui only has one Ford dealership, right? They have...
  15. [Updated] 300 MIC tops produced per day, but still constrained

Sorry for the late reply, usually they'll schedule in about 2 weeks for a build date about a month or two out. Badlands/Sasquatch/wildtrack doesn't seem to be a limiting factor to build time.
  16. ADV Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 4

i tend to agree. My guess is $2500 and that would be tempting but I don’t think I’d pull the trigger. Truthfully, I have nowhere to store my soft top right now. So I can’t buy one just yet anyway.
  17. ADV Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 4

Pricing in 2 weeks... I'm dying! I need to know!
  18. [Updated] 300 MIC tops produced per day, but still constrained

Well, yeah. Those are all going to be MIC so they're stuck unfortunately.
  19. [Updated] 300 MIC tops produced per day, but still constrained

IDK if any of this is true or not. As a dealer, I've been placing orders for Broncos with the soft top and they've scheduled in a matter of days, while hard tops sit and sit and sit unscheduled. Hopefully it won't be the case soon, but if you aren't firmly favoring the hard top, I WOULD switch...
