  1. Virginia Hooke Road Roof Rack

I have the full rack. Been happy does the job. Looks great, never had an issue with the powder coating, but I did have to put some rubber (20bucks on amazon) between the front fairing to stop the wind noise (space is too wide).
  2. Bimini Top, windjammer, and tonneau cover setup. Rainproof for most part

I've been looking for an economical solution for the summer. Was it easy to install, and were there any gotchas? Also how waterproof is it? BTW I am asking about the Rampage trail not the Windjammer. EDIT: I meant to ask about the Rampage trail bimini top, not the Windjammer. I misspoke earlier.
  3. Bimini Top, windjammer, and tonneau cover setup. Rainproof for most part

Looks great! Did you use the Windhammer made for the Wrangler? Actual links you can provide?
  4. My stereo upgrades -- very pleased with results using PlugNPlaykits, Polk, Kicker

Awesome man thanks for sharing. I did mine not far back and posted the highlights/lowlights. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/audio-system-upgrade-journey.69806/#post-1867910. How much bass are you getting back there from the HS8 Sub? I ended up reusing the OEM back side sub box with a...
  5. 35s and 3.73: What's Your MPG?

Good thread. I have a 4dr SAS 2.7 OEM. I was confused when I heard how these Broncos get excellent gas since I am around 15-16, and that's not sport mode. Also I found eco gets maybe 1-2mpg more but that's with a light foot and not highway. I love the power but def not best for gas savings. But...
  6. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

I am in a similar spot, I don't want to remove/install the hard top every day, and it gets very hot in NC during the summer, but I also don't want to drop a few grand for a soft top yet. I don't have a covered garage space and tactical vinyl seats get very hot in the sun so will need something...
  7. Audio system upgrade journey

That should work. Just don't close everything up until you've tested out different volumes/frequencies. I did have to adjust the equalizer on key amp to get it to completely stop popping, even with the bass blockers.

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

Hey all - I recently joined this community as a new member, and just bought my first Bronco. Eager to take it off-road, though I'm still a novice at this. Anyone have any tips, advice, etc... they could share? I am planning on heading out to Uwharrie tomorrow to have a look around.
  10. Audio system upgrade journey

As the new owner of a Bronco, I have noticed that the factory audio system leaves much to be desired. Thankfully, it did come with a 6+1 sub woofer, yet no matter what adjustments I made to the equalizer or fader, it did not seem to work. All other aspects of the vehicle are amazing. I did not...
