Most paint shops are limited in the number of colors they can switch between, so typically the manufacturers each year set which colors will be available at any given assembly plant. I would expect any Ranger color at MAP to be available for Bronco; I am not surprised that some other colors...
There's a huge hole in the market right now. The Ranger is not a "mid"-sized truck -- it's a big as my wife's 1984 F-150. The Ford is trying to be one of the first to get an entry into the soon-to-be-reborn "mini"-size truck market, and I think it is an excellent move as they'll sell like...
Let's see, BMW in NA: 99% American workers, assembling the products produced by U.S. workers at dozens of sub-tier suppliers who have also built plants nearby (U.S. and foreign, just like Ford), all having huge a trickle-down economic boost effect increasing the living standards of most...
Anyone else notice that the bumper bar is the same one they've been showing on all the other mules, but installed backwards? I can't tell from the pics whether it actually contacts the grill.
Back in the mid-70's, my step-father's work van crapped out, and we didn't have a lot of spare change. He purchased the most stripped-down Chevy C10 pickup he could find. Actually worked well. The only issue was no power steering. That's the first time I was introduced to a suicide knob --...
I wonder if he was only referring to the FE and Wildtrack models, which lost their expected modular tops. The 4 door Badlands comes stock with the soft top; I can't imagine that Ford is planning on not making any Badlands Broncos until MY22.
Sorta -- there was never intended to be an '83 Corvette, unlike Ford at least attempting to get the Bronco out as a '21.
Trivia: there actually is one 1983 Corvette -- the only one. At the National Corvette Museum.
I *loved* the floor dimmer on the cars I learned to drive on. Hate the stalk switches.
I suppose it's cheaper to make, but the floor switch was much more convenient to me.
I don't feel victimized. I'm ticked at Ford's unnecessary limits on the interior choices.
As far as the marker comments, I will be modifying the heck out of this vehicle -- I have the skills and tools to throw it up on my lift and have at it. But I don't get why I should have plan on using a...
For you all with the marker comments, why should I even have to think about having to take a marker, which will no doubt be absorbed unevenly, look like crap and potentially stain my clothes if it ever gets wet/sweat laden?
How's about I use your Bronco as a test subject before I take a chance...
Because the deliveries will not be in *strictly* consecutive reservation order (fortunately, or we'd all be waiting for someone in the line ahead waiting on a late-availability part). There are logistic realities with shipping/delivery, and frankly, Ford has marketing interest is get more...
Great -- I don't, so I want least another option so I don't have to put up with what I view to be an eyesore.
For all I know, maybe 99% of BL buyers like orange -- but I've never purchased a vehicle (and I've bought a lot) where there wasn't *at least one* alternative interior color at each...
I currently have a balance of a bit over 10,000 points from buying a couple cars and some work my dealer did. That's worth a free oil change at the dealer with 6 qts., so its not a completely worthless program. In my view, it's a better program than the Chevy program associated with my Corvette.
