  1. Build & Price Update from Ford – Q&A with Bronco Brand Manager

The B&P in my opinion were not errors; they were opportunities for Ford to make more money.
  2. 2021 Ford Bronco's New Lightweight Steel Might Make Ford Reconsider Its Aluminum Trucks

Aluminum is a great material for weight and strength; however, body shop prices for it are much more expensive then traditional steel bodies.
  3. Insider Rumor: 16,000 Bronco Warthog production units planned per year

If the Hog hits 80K I will just get a big boy Raptor.
  4. Insider Rumor: 16,000 Bronco Warthog production units planned per year

Ford should just get it over with and allow us to order them in 2021 for 2022 / 2023 Warthogs. Too bad they will not be released any earlier. Just saying...
  5. Is anyone considering waiting for the Warthog instead of getting a BL or WC when Ford starts shipping them?

Good luck with Master Chief. I hit mine in another service at 19 sew/pin on.
  6. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

One can purchase a new Rubicon in the high $30Ks. Hmmm
  7. Reserving for 2023

I cannot trust a lot of the rumor mill from Ford. Look at the auto transmission and now they are charging...
  8. Speed vs Off road capability

I hear you. Most bag on the Raptor that have never drove and or owned one. I never owned one, but I have drove them. What stood out for me other than having some power is the fact it is hands down the most comfortable 4X4 pickup ride on the market.

    Thank you for sharing!
  10. What are you buying instead of a Bronco?

I would rock this! I had a 95 sami rocked out.
  11. Hawaii member check in

I am happy to see the HI folks in the Southwest Group. I thought for sure you all would be in the California Group. I miss working in HI.
  12. Is this partly why the Manual is not available for the 2.7L Engine?

I have traveled to Europe no less than 4-5 dozen times. To caveat, I always rent manual transmission cars in Europe... Why? Europeans know Americans will pay double the rental cost for an automatic.
  13. What's Bronco missing that "high tech / lux SUVs" have?

They are missing a 4-pot diesel option.
  14. Is this partly why the Manual is not available for the 2.7L Engine?

You are probably right, just like the Coyote engine being too wide.
  15. Speed vs Off road capability

No way my friend -- KH-59, the Warthog will draw the same crowd as the Raptor. The Warthog will actually perform well in the desert. I will leave the mall crawlers to their coffee-can exhaust systems like the ones we have all seen on civics and acuras.
  16. Is this partly why the Manual is not available for the 2.7L Engine?

How about Ford giving us the 300 Straight 6 engine with a non-Chinese 7 spd manual? I will take less HP and TQ for its straight-forward construction and reliability. Just saying.
  17. Spare tire delete fans - this looks good -

I do not recommend this unless you comfortable using a tire repair plug kit. I have used them dozens of times, but I always had a spare.
  18. How much more capable is the Base to the original Bronco?

The Bronco Base is most likely better in all areas except the weak diffs and IMHO the 2.3. (I much rather have an old school engine). Other than that better than the original. I will have to admit I miss the simplicity of the cars of the pre 70s.
