According to Ford's email in September they said to expect to pay a small refundable deposit. My dealership sent an email that same week saying they had planned to not request any further deposit but Ford is telling them to collect $500. So it's probably a requirement.
We really need to see these things in real life. The visualizations are not even close between the digital mockups and real life. Just look at the Leather interior on the B&P:
Now in real life:
The B&P shows a muted grey color with the tan and the actual color is black. Looks completely...
It's like they are screwing with us on purpose. Hey check out the stickers on the Wildtrak... That has the beautiful top we just made late availability... SMH
Black Grill, Black Mirror Covers, Black Beauty Rings, Baja Mode. But I have a 4 door build in both. Trying to decide between the Wildtrak and Badlands. I think it comes down to interior. Hated the WIldtrak Dash coloring when I first saw it. Looks much better in real life pictures. Like the...
I'm fine with the hood graphic. Actually looks nice in the matte with the Gloss Black WIldtrak logo. $520 for about $5 in UV safe auto decal that could be put on in 20 minutes just doesn't seem like a value.
I agree, but there should be a light grey, a black, and then some trim specific (Navy Pier) for each trim level. Give the people who live in Texas and Zona the light, give the rest of us Black, and give the people who want some character the Navy Pier etc...
But honestly, think about this: How would they charge you more money then? Hmm... I mean your trying to squeeze a poor helpless billion dollar company out of its hard earned Lux Package dollars lol.
Right, I was 100% on the Wildtrak, then they said no Shadow Black Roof, then they showed the interior, then they wouldnt let you equip a roof rack. I started building a Badlands and OB with everything I wanted. Couldn't handle the Navy Pier on the OB so settled on the Badlands. Then the pictures...
So they are up another 25k pre-orders since they announced 165k in early September. And they expect to convert 75% to orders for a total of 142,500 in orders. My guess that between the costs, the things that have gone to late 2021 or 2022 model year, the fact were in a pandemic and its getting...
You get 3.2" of ground clearance going to the Squatch. Some from tires, some from bump stops, and reportedly some from longer shocks. Technically the suspension on the Badlands, Wildtrak, and FE is a Lift from the base through OB. If it doesn't seem high enough for you there will be many...
Chemicals in car exhaust:
Carbon Monoxide
Colorless, odorless, tasteless, yet highly toxic. Automobile and industrial emissions may also contribute to the greenhouse effect and global warming; it’s one of the other greenhouse gases we don’t usually hear much about. It occurs naturally in our...
ummmmmm, ok? Larger engine means more gas consumption (Diesel being far worse), means more exhaust, means more particles per square liter, means more pollution. Some truth to your saying the size doesn't truly matter, its the gas consumption. Yet pretty much across the board, larger engines mean...
This same argument can be made for almost anything. Why buy a Starbucks coffee (feel free to swap out Starbucks with any of your awesome local java places that make $5-$10 coffee's) when you can make coffee at home for pennies?
