I'm glad this came up again. Thought I was going crazy. There are other posts on this subject including one of my own. Here's what I've learned so far:
* The damn wipers on full throttle would just start fast, as they should, but then slow to a crawl. This has happened in heavy FL thunderstorms...
I have had my hardtop off for several weeks now and have been caught in rainstorms and a good several inches of water still on my interior: dripping out of my bar, sunvisors, and even on the dash, and so far (knocking)no issues.
that said, I would avoid getting water In Your head...
Well after about a week it dried but I suspect this will happen again so I applied a screen protector and a nav panel frame cover, not sure if this will fix it but should know after the next heavy rain storm.
I agree with you that there should be some way to prevent this as I don't see this being the last time the bronco takes an interior bath. Maybe some tape around the edges but thats ugly and def not a long term solution
This is at least one of threads going on about water in the headunit. Mine looks to be drying out but day 2 and still spots.

Great point about the visor, as I am still drying mine out. Agree, seems room for improvement but it did the trick and kept a ton of water out, the only challenge is how to drain it. I've heard use a cup/bucket but maybe undoing a bungee or two and routing it off the side would be better.
Same boat. I just ran into the same thing during a freak storm. I'm glad to hear it went away, this is day 1, looks like its moisture sandwiched between the screen and plastic cover and looks just like your screenshot.
If you can stomach a couple hundred, I've found this broncobikini.com to be a great supplement. Been testing it for a few weeks and so far so good! I also uploaded a quick video review of a "unplanned" rain test today.
Glad you're okay that's always the most important. Fairness, the front end always looks worse in rear end accidents. I would be curious how the bronco looks in a reverse scenario... safely and staged of course.
Excluding the sub for a moment. If you just swapping out the speakers that shouldn't be an issue. I did it on my 2023 no-bo and went fine.
The factory headunit is under-powered and without any forscan adjustments you wont get sound to the back pods, so I bought the wiring harness + kicker key...
Agree. It’s basic wiring from battery and control wire depending on your setup. Hardest part is deciding where to put it, in my case I installed behind driver seat and ran wires down through the firewall through the kick and side panels.
Interesting idea to mod, I thought about getting the mabbett leather covers which do fit around the molle but being leather not sure how much better it is from MGV.
