I would agree that the leather from wheelskins makes a bid difference. I added it to my F-150 steering wheel, which started to break off in chunks after a long life. While it may not be factory quality, it does look/feel great. I have also debated switching out my base steering wheel with a...
It would be nice if it worked that way. As of this moment, there were 270,054 raffle tickets sold. Whether you buy 10 or 10,000 entries, your chances are still 1/270,054. Still, not bad odds, given the value of FE Broncos.
I currently have a 2010 F-150 Regular Cab 4x4. I use it like a truck, so my Bronco will definitely be a huge change. I agree that many trucks are not used/needed all that often, but sometimes you just need a truck to get something done (recently purchased new appliances and could not pick...
Sorry to hear. That really sucks. I'm with you on the spirit crushing as it makes you feel like your space is violated. I'm sure finding glass replacement is not going to be easy--you obviously need it in Seattle. I'm still waiting for my Bronco, but I think I will just leave the top...
I was just watching a youtube video about overlanding that also discussed the rooftop tent and how the manufacturer had to scrap their overseas version with plans to build a better one in-house.
Congratulation! I'm sure you are excited and happy the wait is finally over. I see you got the Base model. Any other options that you want to share? Engine size, transmission, etc...?
Glad to hear you are getting built in February. From what I have seen on this and other forums, it looks like soft-tops are jumping ahead of a lot of other builds without soft-tops. 2.3 seems to be the other factor that almost guarantees a quick build. Did you get the 2.3 or 2.7?
Mine has no information. I’m not sure what’s going on with the back door? Maybe it’s overloaded and not working correctly? I was able to check it this morning fine but now it shows only the dealer info.
My dealer called me today to let me know that we have a VIN and production date of 2/21/22. I’ve been checking the back door all day with no luck. Fortunately, my salesperson has also been checking on her end and was more successful!
2dr Base 2.3 Auto. No constraints other than being a...
Fyi, I already have a build on a 4-door and waiting for the 2-door to come through. They were done using separate Ford accounts and emails go to different email addresses. I received the dreaded "off-roadeo" email at both accounts this morning. Not sure if that means anything, but it sure...
I'm surprised google hasn't returned any for you? Here's one at a ford dealership...

This guy makes good videos--from start to finish. He has one for the 2.7L too. I watched a few others and his is the most informative and detailed. Some of the other guys appear to be learning as they go.
For my build (BB, 4-door soft top, 2.3/AT, mid pkg, no add ons), I changed to soft-top and the 2.3 and the very next week it was scheduled (1/10/22). Small dealership, reservation 5/18/21. As other forums have illuminated, there are so many other variables aside from reservation date--color...
I noticed the same thing on the dealer demos. I've never had a soft-top vehicle, so maybe this is normal? I've seen videos of people taking their new Bronco soft-top through the car wash and they seem to be fine, so they must work! Keep us posted on any inordinate amount of wind or rain/water...
Nothing yet, but I will be checking all day and through the weekend! My dealer emailed me yesterday that my "Bronco was previewing"--which can mean anything, but I figured I have a chance today! I'll keep you posted. Res date of 5/18/21, 2-door, 2.3, no constraints (other than the 2-door MIC).
Ford is not all that transparent on which builds get built first. Dealerships can only relay what Ford says, so you have to go by what others are getting built. Based on my experience with this forum, more 2.3L soft-top 4-doors have been built than any other configurations, and some of them...
