Last fall, enjoying a topless fall drive, decided to explore an unknown road that disappeared into the woods... It quickly turned to gravel/dirt.....it was very dry.... I had no top..... I kept going.... Spent the rest of the weekend cleaning the interior. Stupidity lesson learned. 🤠
When I took mine all apart to apply the spare delete set-up, I thought it was a poor design/execution on Ford's part. Thanks for confirming my assumptions... 😱 (sorry you have to deal with it...)
Yeah, we're both saying the same thing. The exception might be your trail use, if it's a slow speed trail, it's likely your tires are not actually "hot", as speed is the biggest factor to generating heat in a tire. After a slow trail, I would reset the pressure as "cold".
The "hot & cold" is referring to the tire, not the ambient temps. A "cold" tire is a tire that has not been driven in a time frame to have sufficiently heated the air inside. A "hot" tire is one that has recently been driven enough to raise the temperature of the air inside, vs ambient. A cold...
Of course, I support anyone else's decision to do as they please with their own vehicles, just never made sense to me, for reasons stated. If others like it there, more power to them! I still think it's dumb...🤠
That's strange...pretty sure it takes more than 5 psi to trigger the warning. You may have something else going on.... maybe the left side lost communication or something?
